Recycling

OK, now I am being picky... But once again, asking for others opinions.

I have noticed in several of the recently released videos, a lot of scene recycling going on. One would think that with the vast plethora of material available for easy download on the internet, that a new CH vid wouldn't have a lot of scenes seen already in another previous CH video. But for some reason lately a lot of recycling seems to be occurring. Thoughts? Opinions?

It can be a bit strange, especially if you start associating the clip with a certain beat pattern/song/etc. But if the editing is good and the beat works well with the scene I don't think there's much of a problem

Personally as a video tease creator, I try to watch all the video tease offerings here at Milovana and do my best to avoid recycling scenes. I agree that there's tons of different sexy vids to be used in video teases - but sometimes a really good scene comes along that fits to exactly the music and people are going to use it. And I think that's fine.

Personally, I don't think I've seen a lot of video teases using the same scenes over and over again - I haven't checked out tribes latest offering (was goign to do that tonight) but I personally haven't seen a whole lot of recycling (tho, I haven't checked out any of the Thick & Juicy series and/or the anime inspired stuff).

Calling you out on this one man! Stroker Ace 2 (Which is one of my favorites, btw) has over 10 clips I recognized from other challenges...

It was that and the latest Tribes offering that inspired this post. The scene at the end with Aletta Ocean was also at the end of one of the Hardcores I believe.

The worst thing is when you're working on a CH, and already used a certain music/video in it, and somebody publishes one that has it too.
But really, as long as there are so many CH videos, they are bound to have enough distinct footage used.

I agree that beggars can't be choosers. I'm glad all the creators/editors do their thing. If I don't like it, I don't have to watch it, or I could cheat past the recycled stuff. There *are* some "oh, shit!" girls or scenes that work in almost any CH, so I'm guessing that's what people fall back on. It makes sense; it takes a lot of work to put one of these together.

That said, I like being surprised as much as anyone else. New or unusual material, new beats, new tease scripts, quicker editing (even of recycled stuff) gets me closer to the edge than unedited recycling. But I'm still grateful.

This is probably one of my favorite parts of the CH library. Countless times I've been introduced to new talent through these videos. A lot of creators seem to have a specific "brand" if you will, that they use more content from, like Twistys, FTV, BangBros, etc., and it's great to see such variety.

I'm at work, so I can't look up exactly what CH it was, but it was recent. The smoking hot, voluptuous blonde who was featured in the first round (IIRC), caused me to lose straight away, leading to my immediate scouting and acquisition of everything I could get hold of with her in it (Hannah Claydon). Odds are I'll use her in my own work eventually!

Maybe budding pornstars and nude models should start contacting CH creators to help with exposure!

Actually, I don't mind being called out.

I did say I try not to use recycled scenes - but a good scene is a good scene. That said, the only recycled scene that comes to mind from Stroker Ace 2 was the Karlie Montana scene in the final round.

If you don't mind, jstwolf, can you PM the other occurrences as well - curious to know where I missed. Thanks!

I would agree with Andyp picking the content it hard. I tried my best to not recycle any material bust still did a little. I didn't even realize it until I was playing Hardcore 3 and saw a Veronica Rodriguez clip that I used.

You'd actually be surprised there's not that much high quality content out there that works. Especially for the types of girls I'm into. I will continue to do my best to only use fresh scenes, but sometimes I'm sure I'll screw up again.

Ok, maybe recycling was the wrong word. What I mean is not a certain author reusing scenes him/herself necessarily, but using clips that have been in other CH vids. I guess I am getting to be such a fine connoisseur of these vids I am starting to recognize scenes from other vids. I do see what Andy and Super mean though. Been a while since I looked at the list. It has grown to quite a collection. It would take some time to forage through them to make sure something you want to use hasn't been already. Maybe I have a great memory for porn, or maybe I have just watched these vids too much,

but I can pretty easily pick out something that has been used before. Probably just my OCD kicking in...
