Just a little suggestion...
I was wondering if the line at the top of the forum post, 'View unanswered post, view unread post, etc' could be made more prominent. Maybe just a larger font, a different colour or something. Not really sure.
It's a really useful way of finding one's way around Milo, but at the moment so easy to over look. I'm sure many more people would use of this if it was more visible.
all the best, and a happy new year to whoever reads this, bobby
The 'View unanswered post' etc, line...
Re: The 'View unanswered post' etc, line...
Interesting. It would be cool to hear from some people how they are using the forums. Are you using the unanswered/unread posts feature? What is your usual forum reading "routine"?
I'll start: I actually don't use the unread/unanswered posts at all. My routine is to open the forum front page. After doing PMs, I'll see if the Team Forum, Tech Support, Suggestions or Tester's Hall have new posts. If so I'll open tabs for each forum that does and then tabs for each thread that is new or has new posts in it. Then I'll read and if needed reply and finally close the tab. When all the tabs are gone I'm done with the "official" business. If I have free time (which is pretty rare these days unfortunately) I'll browse some of the other forums or browse other parts of the site looking for bugs or things I want to improve. If I have a *lot* of time (as in more than an hour) I'll spend it working on Eos or the Eos editor.

I use unread posts.
In a auto reloading, locked, pinned, app tab in FireFox.

Similar setup here: autoreloading tab of unread posts. When there is more than 3, I use multi-open in tabs, then go through each one... Would be nice if some sub-forums could be 'deselected' from the unread posts search.

Well, I've been on Milo for just over a year and I've just noticed these options after reading a comment in a post by Les
The last few days, I've found dipping into Milo via these very routes very interesting reading. Thought others might as well. Thanks for the quick reply btw

I never bother using that feature here, the volume is too low to justify it.
On the original question: those links can easily be made larger, but it does require a little php coding... phpbb3 does not have any config for that, but a simple font size statement directly in the appropriate php file works

Yes, I most certainly CAN do it again!

Well, I'm right handed, but I need to access everything on the forum via left hand

lol sounds familiar
btw, even if you're right handed, you should try to operate the forum with the right, and leave everything else to the left... You might find it fun
