Got a chastity cage. Looking for advice

Post by Show_steve »

Hi all
Received my first chastity cage in the mail yesterday. I'm looking for some help on breaking myself in safely.

The one I got is this http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem ... 9013961609

I've read some slightly negative reviews on cheapies on this site, but it seems to be a decent cage. And I don't want to break the bank if I decide this is not for me.

So I'm looking for some advice on comfort and safety. To begin, I initially had a hell of a time getting the ring on. Finally, with a little lube, I was able to get Jimmy inside. It was quite snug, and I first thought maybe I need a larger ring, but it didn't seem to cause any circulation problems. I left it at that for a bit--watched some tv for an hour or two before adding the cage. I'd found a tip about using pantyhose. Threaded the hose through the pee hole, through the cage, then wrapped that around Jimmy to pull him through. Worked quite well. I didn't need any lube for that step. I kept that on for another hour or three, then decided to take it off, as I understand it's best to slowly get oneself accustomed to this.

After removing it, I noticed a little red line on my inside left crotch from the ring. Should I take this as an indication that I need to bump up to a 45mm ring? Since I fit in this, I assume the 50mm will be too big. I only lubed my shaft to put on the ring. If I coat the whole thing in some Vaseline, do you think that will do the trick, instead of going larger? I'm thinking a thorough coating of the whole unit should, first, avoid chafing, and, second, may reduce the possibility of rusting, on the chance that the cheapie may do so.

What sort of time frames should I be using to introduce myself to this? Can I jump right into a full half day or so, or start with just a few hours, or??? As stated, with what I have now, there do not seem to be circulation issues, but I don't want to have an emergency creep up while I'm at work. I work as a waiter, and, especially with the busy holiday season, sometimes there is just no time to run to the bathroom.

Finally (I think), do you think I can trust this in the shower? I messaged the seller about this, and he said he could not guarantee it, but that he has many customers wear them long term, including showers, and has not received any word of problems related to that.

Thanks in advance for any help. Still debating if I want to go for complete chastity with occasional relief, or chastity with regular teasing and occasional relief, or what. No SO to decide for me, but I have thought of some fun ideas (like wearing it to a strip club to constrain erections).

you should wear it for a few days while constantly having a key with you. Just adapt, see if nothing hurts, see how you sleep and if you have any other problems, like skin getting pinched between rings or something like that. Only when you are 100% sure you can wear it long-time, you should consider doing so. And even then you should always have acess to your key in case of emergency.

I am familiar with this cage as I own one
It is fairly tight
even when flaccid

Putting on
thread one ball through ring, then other
then squeeze penis through

You will need to lube to put the tube on
but since it is metal any lube will do so I recommend hand lotion or baby oil! (this is what I use)

sounds like you do need some time to adjust to your cage
so wear it only while awake for now
so you can check on that "red ring" you get
to help prevent this once you are locked up
pull your balls lightly
the often "shrink" back
just pulling the skin to readjust the up side is this will often help you swell to fill the cage
but I have found it a unnecessary adjustment
then run your finger round the base ring
thi to be sure you all the way through
I do like the solid ring though because you don't have the problems you do with pinching from hinged rings.

Yes you can wear it shower without difficulty!

you should clean it with soap and water after all!

What you want to look out for is any "flaking" of the metal
but I do not think that is a problem with this cage

try wearing it every day for a few hours
then try an overnight with it
You will wake up with a little pain with your morning erection this is normal.. what you are checking for is if you wake up with a LOT of pain!
take off and check yourself.

Thanks for the responses. Tested it out again last night. Had a bit of difficulty getting the cage on, as I kept getting hard and blocking it up (on the first test, I'd had a few beers, so with a buzz and a relatively full bladder it was much easier). Eventually I managed to struggle it on, although I didn't quite fill it up right, as I did the first night. I started to feel some impingement on the urethra under my sack, so I removed it after not too long. Still today I feel some discomfort in that area, along with some minor discomfort in the urethra at the frenulum. I guess that's part of what I get for not going for a custom cage and ring. I've ordered a replacement 45mm ring, so I think I will wait until that arrives to give it another shot. I guess it kind of did its job, though, as the discomfort is killing the desire to play around.

So, I avoided lubing for the cage, as it went on easily the first time, but not so easily the second. I will try that next time, but any hints on how to avoid chubbing up while putting on the cage? Again, the pantyhose trick worked great my first try, but not as great yesterday. The rings on this are so close it's near impossible to help push it through to the end from the outside. Any tips for that?

Sorry for all the questions, but I figure the experts here would be a great source of info. I'm actually quite impressed that two legends responded to my newbie post (I've lurked for a while, so I know you two have done a lot for a long time). Thanks again!

I guess it wouldn't hurt to add that the idea of chastity took hold this time after completing the "Nightmares become reality" series. I've been teased and denied before, but this time the whole idea of full on chastity really appealed to me. After a few days of t&d, I became exceedingly horny, and I thought it would be fun to be, well, anywhere, and somehow get really turned on, only to have my erection constrained.

Also, concerning the urethral constriction, well, I have very tight hip flexors (been working on that), and the ring and cage do kind of force me to sit with my hips a little wider. That's a good thing, as it seems to help with my stretching, but perhaps the extra stretch with a tight ring was too much at once. I don't know. So, that might help with any advice you may have, or not.

Hi

I have been into chastity for a good few years now and have tried a few devices over that time, including the one you have. The problems I found were not so much with the shape or fit of the device itself but the finish. I got 3 base rings with mine, and the 45mm was a perfect fit.

I seemed to have different problems every time I tried wearing it, besides the pinching of course. I would get red marks around the base ring and around the penis ring, irritation at the urethral opening, and quite severe itching in various places including on the ball sack. Also, after showering with the device and being locked for a few days I suffered red blotchy and itchy skin all along the under side of the shaft. What caused all the problems for me was the chrome finish and cheap solder, I was having a reaction to that. I eventually gave in with the device and now have a custom made steelworxx device.
