Yes, I had plenty of string, all the times. And did basically what you said per the loop starting around the base and then each side wrapping around one ball. I of course agree with you that Silent won the task, seeing as the most you could even consider saying I did at once was the total of the first trial with all the slippings. And even that number could have been made smaller due to gaps in retying the string.

I am glad the picture was what you were after, that is basically how it looked the first time too, I just couldn't get that final loop on the balls to stop working its way off. Apparently the new way I tied it didn't work either, as it came undone during my set of 30 this morning before my shower (luckily I woke up about an hour before my alarm was set to go off so I had time to do them. Thank you so much for allowing me to). I suppose I will get plenty of practice of figuring out how to bury that last loop so it cannot slide it's way off. Right now I'm thinking less total loops in general that are still tight, that way the final loop can be smaller and tighter, rather than having it rest on top of the already placed string and not be small enough to stop the ball from escaping through it.


Is the duct tape and icy hot for both of us, or just for Silent? As the question came during a response to her, I wanted to make sure. Also, I have something that is similar to deep heat, but am guessing you want icy hot since you specifically mentioned the burning cooling aspect of it, as opposed to just getting the hot part.

It can be really tough to get the ball into that loop, it really takes a lot of perseverance, it can be really frustrating as really you need more than two hands for this.

Well if I am honest I would not have minded you trying and trying and trying again until you got it right, what annoyed me was that you clearly thought you needed to seek permission to re try it. Of course due to the turning of the world I was sleeping, but Della was around, and I am sure that had you asked Della she would have either told you yes, or to wait until morning when I would be on.

Anyway what is done is done. Just be sure that next time you ask for my permission for something that you wait until it is given before proceeding.
