I actually went ahead and wrote a similar app for myself that will take the same xml database file and a similar (but more fully-featured) "playlist" file format. It's in Java and uses bindings for VLC, so (in theory) should be completely cross-platform.

I actually looked into what it would take to make this as a web app for some time but unfortunately the browser support for arbitrary video codecs is just really not there. That makes your options a) try to embed plugins (tends to be really flaky, especially on OSX/Linux) or b) transcode all of the CH videos (ugh).

I just stumbled on these videos the other day and the whole thing is an awesome idea. I'm currently destroying my bandwidth downloading more than the one I found. I registered to post how cool it is people have put the time in to the videos.

I've looked into the vlc java plugin before and was going to goof around with to do a sort of random porn player as well, seemed like the fastest low barrier way to get going.

But anyway I was wondering along the lines of this program, is has there been any thought to have it as a customized player that will display beat tracks along with videos, basically just like rock band/ guitar hero? That way instead of having to sort of hand paste in the beat indicators, possibly could just include a beat per minute flag for the program at points in the video to play. A 'creator' mode could let you just play through the video and mark off patterns like beats per minute and preset patterns that can be played back along side the video.

The best part of that is it's probably not too hard to customize the pictures used for the beat indicators, could allow for some different ideas like an up arrow could mean fast up slow down or whatever else. Going beyond that the ones that have bonus to be used like in the flux series in the beat track you could keep score as time goes on and let the user slam spacebar and blank the video playback for 10 sec or whatever.

Anyway just an idea, I know that as I get older i keep searching for different ways to watch porn (yey marriage?) and i've stumbled through erotic hypnosis to jerk off encouragement and have been on the cusp of thinking about getting a real touch (obviously this format + that device is a match made in heaven), but its cool to see this 'genera' of porn.

I'd considered going down the C#/.NET route but if there's easy VLC support in Java that'd be much better.

The WMP plugin really doesn't play well with certain formats, or at all if its a .mkv file.

Pretty sure a Java/VLC bundle would be more or less cross platform from the get go with much less trouble that a .NET port.

Saves managing branches or forks as well if its all the one "program" per say.

Best bet for online would be to contact p3rv and/or cockherolover and see if you can attach the XML parser (for CHDB's) onto the playlist they already seem to have up and running, might even have an option to pull down their ratings data without much trouble if there's a collab going.

Does anyone know why my CH.exe would suddenly stop working? It won't open, but I see the CH.exe*32 in my processes tab in task manager. I've tried running as administrator, no such luck.

Do you have more than one CH.exe in the processes tab? If so, terminate all of them and try again. Or try restarting your computer.

Missing tags, timestamps etc... - Kills the program on start up immediately.

Removed due to fix.

The culprit was a self-added segment. For whatever reason, when I try to add the CH - Thick and Juicy 2 video, it doesn't like the filename I put in. Can't understand for the life of me why. None of the others I've added have an issue.

CHDB might be a bit outdated, additionally it is a custom one I found a while ago so you might need to play with filenames.

Alright, folks, here's something a little more flexible, built in Java. Not necessarily up to snuff with the existing one for Windows, but I did try to take the time to at least document the code a little better before releasing it. Code quality is low-ish, my apologies.

This is based around using VLC as your player, so I assume you have that installed. It then pulls in jna vlcj to hook up to it, and requires the following flag to point to VLC's lib folder. In Eclipse, Run As > Run Configurations > Arguments > VM arguments, you need to add the path to VLC. For OSX, it is probably:
-Djna.library.path=/Applications/VLC.app/Contents/MacOS/lib

A few things in terms of actually using the player:
- Eclipse project right now. Maybe someone can package as a jar to be more easily runnable? You should be able to simply import this into Eclipse and more or less run it though, probably immediately if you have a Mac with VLC installed. By default, the videos should be in the "vids" directory, and there's a sample "my_round" that it's pointed at.
- Entry point is VideoRandomizer.java. You can change the locations of hardcoded paths in there if you want.
- Works on existing CHDB.xml.
- You can have playlist files that look like:

In this case, the player will pick round 1 from the first line, round 2 from the second line, and so on. Gives you a little more control over the flow of your randomizer experience. See "my_round" file for more detail.
- I changed some of the keyboard shortcuts around, but those are in VideoFrame.java (search for "inputMap"). "F" will fullscreen and "Cmd+Right" will skip to the next round.

I just have found Milovana and I think it is one ob the coolest sites I've ever visited. I have been trying some CH videos and they are awesome. However I tried to download the Randomiser and it looks the file was deleted from the storage server. Can anybody please upload it again?
