Hardware Goals
I want to create a list of 4 or 5 hardware devices to have build and controlled from computer in the next 4 weeks. So, by November 5th I'd really like to see the following devices created and controlled via software:
1) A key release -- be it a magnet or other device
2) Vibrator with variable speed control
3) Fucking machine -- Linear motion that can be applied in... useful ways.
4) Electric shock -- on/off only perhaps just a novelty shocking pen controlled via computer
5) A stroke counter -- possibly an accelerometer attached to the hand
So, I'd like the people that signed up for this type of thing to volunteer to create one or more of these modules. Assume we have PWM and 5vDC digital IO. We can then create separate topics for each one.
Also, if there is something that you are REALLY interested in created do no feel limited by this list. Go for it, but list is somewhere here so we can all work together.

hmm concerning the first point:

so if somebody could write a similiar prog oder implement this one, the key could be closed away...
have a look a the prog... the time's variable and it hast different features.
i know the method is not that nice but in my opinion quite efficient...
i like this prog very much...
but i dont know how to make that safe when using a browser...

Here is the English program description for Multilock:
Multilock will enable you to use one or more combination padlocks as a time release for selfbondage or remote bondage. The correct combination for unlocking the padlocks will be shown to you only after a defined amount of time or upon some alternative release methods. Multilock is freeware. Multilock must not be changed in any way without permission of the author. The source code is attached only for privacy and confidentiality. Please read the attached help file carefully. This is a very good point. Software can very easily solve a key release problem. I've used a program called timelock before. It required the user to set a combination lock then scan an image of it. You have to do this without actually looking at the combination (something that is not very easy to do) Then the program encrypts the image on disk and waits. For non-combination locks there is some software that will release a CD tray that contains a key too. There are some problems with this too. Keys getting stuck and what not.
The advantage an electromagnet is that is one of the most failsafe solutions there is. The disadvantage is the current requirements.
I don't actually see this being a very frequently used feature so I'm fine just going with a simple electromagnet and calling it done. If someone wants to develop something that uses a solenoid or other creative solution to give both a failsafe and low current device I think that would be great.

Regarding the current: We should not try to carry the key, there are too many issues like high current, the uncertainty about what kind of key it is. (Is it magnetizable? How heavy is it?) We should do a little device with a hinge. The key is placed very close to the hinge and the magnet only holds the thin lever wire. So it does not matter much whether the key weighs 1g or 100g, because 95% of it's weight are on the hinge. Also: it is our lever, so we can choose a material that cannot be magnetized.
i used timelock too but didnt like it...
multilock is easier and you can avoid seeing the code better ^^
and it's safer because the code can be shown in a pic, said per speaker and there's a failsafe option...

I will apply for No.3 The Fucking Machine, since I have already started on it. But can I change the name to something less vulgar ? . No.3 The Honey Miner.
I can a get a working model of this happening by Nov. 5.
But it will only be a simple working prototype. I am still waiting a little on you guys to give me an interface. Also I am need of some inspiration, I have about 6" of lateral movement. Constant speed, no angle variation.
And We call ourselves engineers.
Ulitimately I would like to vary lateral movement & be able to electrically change the angle slightly to give a rocking motion. Cow gurl

You guys are doing great.. I've been into this for a little while -- I once made a restraint chair that could be released via a computer program. It was arranged such that, when in the device, my balls were below the surface of the seat -- beneath the chair was an open area so I planned to attach some kind of ball-torture device but never finished it.
Anyways, in thinking about how I wanted to build that device, I wanted to make it so the computer could (idealy) identify when I was approaching orgasm and then change the stimuli (e.g., turn off the vibrating cock ring, turn on the ball-torture device, etc...). My approach was to wrap an uninsulated wire around the cock ring and glue an uninsulated metal plate to the top surface of the chair right where my cock would be laying if it were soft. I planned to use the delay between the time the circuit was interrupted and the time the vibrator had been on as an estimate (albiet, a poor one).
So, has anybody thought about ways of making a better impending-orgasm detector? I read somewhere that sphincter-muscle contractions are correlated with orgasm but detecting that is a little more "invasive". Maybe some kind of analog amplifier to measure muscle contraction?

i made something once. (i am actually trying to recreate it right now, but having trouble finding the materials this time.)
It worked like this. A vibrating egg was attached ti the underside (most sensitive) part of the cock. A sensor to the top of the shaft. The other magnet attached to the belly. bellow the belly button. Where the sensors would meet when i got erect. It was wired so that the egg turned off when the sensors came together & on when they were apart. Making for something that forced almost constant erections without wllowing cumming. i think i ran it about 5 hours once till the batteries weakened.
The sensors were from an electronics generic store & were for security. Put them on a window so that the alarm went off if the window was seperated. Now they come with a built in alarm so i can't use for my purpose.

perhaps an idea for the F'n machine
Hello, I have been following these concepts for awhile but have yet to chime in ..... thought it might be time to do so

Okay, so here is an idea, not sure if it will work but it is a concept that has been stirring around in my head for awhile.
I have always dreamed of some sort of stroking machine that could be pc controlled, either by a program or another user on the other side. (yeah we have all dreamed that right?) anyways, it seems to be truly under the control of the program or person, we should not be able to move our hips at all so that the stroking is completely controlled or guided. Which brings about my ideas.
If sitting in an office type of chair - something with arms on it, perhaps one that rocks back or leans back might work for this.
1) have a bar or something that lays across and is secured to the armrests of the chair. The legs would then be placed over the bar and supported right underneath the knees. This could accomplish at least two things here ..... first it would pull your legs up close to your chest and effectively not allow you to thrust your hips to try and get some more stimulation from whatever is stroking you and prevents you from having any control in regards to stimulation. The second thing here - is that it opens up your backside rather nicely for various purposes. (I don't kow about you, but when I am in a position like this, once my pc muscles start twitching and contracting this position really starts working on my prostate and really intensifies the feelings there) it can also make for some easy access for various attachments that could be secured to the bar. (Regarding the bar ... I have thought that , maybe a 4" pvc pipe would be comfortable under the knees ....... but would be hard to secure to the arms rests) perhaps something like a 2x4 or bar that has something comfortable for the legs/knees to rest on would work.
okay next idea ......
2) regarding the F'n machine or stroking mechanism apparatus. Not sure how hard this would be to make or manufacture but seems like it could work.
If you had a fleshlight type of device .... that had at least 2 - 4 - 6 - 8 little nubs (for lack of a better word) that stuck out on the sides of it. These little nubs could then slide or glide inside of a channel or groove that fits over the entire fleshlight or something similar device. Now, if these channels were cut or grooved at specific lenghts and angles ..... it would allow the fleshlight to twist and go up or down. (is this making any sense?)
I am envisioning the inside of a pipe or can that would have these grooves carved out or channelled out in. This pipe or can then fits over the fleshlight device and guides or directs the movement as it thrusts up and down.
everything could be hooked up to a drill or something like that - which could easily be connected to a gear or set of gears which would control speed and length of each plunge/stroke.
I dunno - what do you think?
also ....... I have never tried this but have thought about it ......... regarding the knowing of when one gets close to the edge ...... would a heart rate monitor be of any use? have any of you ever tried to check your pulse or heart rate during the whole process of stroking from beginning to end? does it change from riding the edge for awhile to actual climax? Hmmmm??

Hey, I'm glad to see some of these ideas coming out! They are really creative.
I am putting together a step-by-step DIY release that should allow you to easily and cheaply setup an array of computer controlled vibes and other controllers. This will mainly be a dump of what I've learned so far. The platform should allow for easy sensor input to take feedback from erections or heart rate monitors... or whatever you want really.
For the time being, the main focus for me will be on vibrators. A linear motion machine would be GREAT but there are some challenges and cost barriers that don't exactly make it a great starting point. It's not an area where I have a whole lot of experience.
Also, I really liked the idea of some sort of bondage while in a chair. I was thinking it would be easy to bind the hands behind the chair and have an electromagnet or solenoid drop a set of keys on a string on a computer controlled signal. If anyone has ideas on good self bondage positions in a chair let's hear them!
Also, my new transistors arrived today. I should have some time this weekend to play with them.

Right, as far as I know I'm mainly the one doing the building. Everyone is welcome to participate especially if they have skills in the area of electronics, computer science, or engineering. If anyone is looking to get started I'd be happy to help bring you up to the point I am.
Right now I have a web interface to control up to 4 vibrators / shocking devices / solenoids. I also have code for the microcontroller to interface with the web server. Everything is based around the arduino board... arduino.cc
As a test, I'm going to be opening up this web interface to allow people to control the toys online in the coming weeks. Should be fun =).
