removing user account
For privacy reasons, it has become necessary for me to delete my previous posts and this account and I wish to create a new one with a different handle. how is this done? could an admin simply ban me or delete my account please? would this destroy all my previous posts?

Re: removing user account
I also wondered about removing posts
I accedently posted to the wrong
forum once.
How do we ask for specific posts or all posts
to be deleted?

Re: removing user account
yeah... I use the same handle here I use in a bunch of other places. That'll be a problem if I ever run for office, huh?
Re: removing user account
Removing posts is really annoying for an admin, although it is possible.
On the other hand, you might have been quoted somewhere too or topics may not make sense anymore.
I would suggest a namechange of your account instead.

Re: removing user account
i went to the user account info but my account name is not editable. do i need certain privileges for this?
Re: removing user account
I've just granted you permission to change your name.
Normally everybody should be able to edit and delete their own posts, if this isn't working please let me know.
Sorry for the late response btw, I had to write a paper which got pretty close by the deadline.

Re: removing user account
can someone tell me how to remove my account altogether?
Re: removing user account
You'll have to get a hold of one of the Admin's, such as Dark, or Seraph0x, and ask them to remove it for you. Sorry to hear you'll be leaving us . . . :(
Re: removing user account
PM to me or dark and we'll erase you. Uh, your account.MissIckle wrote:can someone tell me how to remove my account altogether?
