Seven Stars "Preview"

Seven Stars is intended to be one of my next ebook exclusive stories, but I have had a devil of a time getting it to work out for me. It is an erotic fantasy adventure based very loosely around the basic premise of the anime Fushigi Yugi: a boy is whisked away to a magical world, where he must gather seven celestial warriors to perform a ritual to summon a Goddess. Naturally, the ritual requires the man to be a virgin, and the celestial warriors he meets are all hot, salacious young women with no qualms about teasing him over his predicament!

It may be quite a while before this story is ever finished, but I decided until then to share what I have so far as a sort of preview of the story. I may change things up in the final version, but hopefully, this will still be a fun read. Let me know what works and what doesn't.

Allow me to beg your indulgence for one moment.

I was recently coerced by a colleague into watching the animated serial known as "Fushigi Yuugi" in its entirety. Needless to say, the doldrums of vacuity and melodrama were almost more than I could bear. At no point during this exercise in histrionics was I even remotely moved, intellectually or emotionally, by this poor excuse for entertainment. Truly the once great nation of Japan has capitulated to the ignorant proclivities of the unwashed masses. My only recompense is that I was not also subjected to the additional films that I can only assume add further exasperation to the Fushigi Yuugi universe. I must urge that any writer of fan fiction be as liberal as possible in his artists' interpretation of the preposterous plot lines and characters of which Fushigi Yuugi consists.

I liked it, silly, inane, and sappy as it was. Manga was better, mind. Manga had an amazon island quest that didn't make it into the show, unfortunately. Now the continuation mini-series of the anime, those were awful.

On that note, just so it's clear, this isn't a fan fiction of FY. I was just inspired to use the basic premise of that story and modify it for this one. So, if you didn't like Fushigi Yugi, that shouldn't dissuade you from Seven Stars. I hope. :P

I wonder if Salamando was the name of the author... hehe



I did like the idea of him being transported in.. but having NO idea the plot of the book?
guess he is to typical to bother reading the back cover, or some simple info about the book.

I wonder though.. what advantages he might have..
like remembering the formula for.. gun powder??
or knowing how to write a good cipher??
nothing that would really help him get out of his predicament
but might explain why he is the "chosen" one besides being an older virgin.

perhaps he has really good debate skills??
are you thinking of putting the rest.. as a for sale" piece??

Guess I'll need to edit that in, but there's no information other than what was presented. Good catch. Although he might turn out Genre Savvy enough to predict a few things.

I'm not sure yet if he really is a chosen one, or if it really is just the luck of the draw. Regardless, he may unlock a special power of his own down the road.

Yeah, this is supposed to be one (or two) of my next ebooks. You likely won't see any more free chapters, unless I get stuck again for a really long time.

LOL. I think at this point the cast is already going to be so big, I dunno if I can really fit a whole other set of Star Warriors. However, it may be the case that not all of the Star Warriors are... cooperative.
