Requesting a timer for when a webtease is made public

Can you please add a timer option in the Editor?

I do not think that would be possible within the structure of the PHP language. Instead you would need to move up to the flash tease editor.

The previous post talked about flashtease
this is indeed the Best way to do a timer
but it is not the only one
you can just simply ASK people to to wait a prescribed period of time
in a regular tease.

many good teases have been written this way.
It is just a question of weather or not you wish to "force" people to wait for a Nyx timer.. or hope they will honer the heart of the tease
and wait on their own.

Thank you both for the replies and the information and sorry for the confusion but that's not the type of timer I was hoping for. I was hoping that after I hit publish I had the option to make it public straight away or the option to set a delay (a date and time, a specific day of the week, etc.).

there IS a way you can "preview"
a regular tease to a select Few!!
you Write a tease
and then... maybe ask some people to look over it before it's officially published
>view private teases option under regular tease creation

the only other option is to put in forums that you are planning on publishing a tease
but YOU still have to hit that publish button when the time rolls around.

Someone may want to release a tease every Friday (a month, a year, etc. tease), day (a week, a month, etc. tease), specific holiday or whatever and with this option available they can queue them up, sit back and not have to worry about logging in to publish them. Also, Milovana could list upcoming teases sorta like a TV guide.
