I say random because I have not dertermined a pattern for it. It does not seem to be dependent on the amount of strokes, at least not less than 25, and I haven't noticed anything else that seems to precede or accompany it.
It will just stop on a number (not always the same amount left) before the countdown ends and it never seems to continue. I've left it go for a few minutes to see if it was hanging/lagging, but it seems permanent once it happens.
I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this or not, so I thought I would let you know. I think you might have a fun little game for those who love stroking games once the bugs are weeded out.
I've experienced the freezing you spoke about.
I could not get the game to do anything other than add my name until I stopped using the numbers from the keypad. Once I started using the numbers above the letters and the enter button it worked except for the freeze mentioned.
still cant close the tease?
And still crashes randomly under win7.
The close form (cross) button in the upper right does nothing. If you are using delphi add a simple Application.terminate; line in the FormClose method.

- I am not sure where the problem with the button in the upper left corner is, but ESC should work at any time in the game.
- I could not reproduce the problems with the random crashes on my win 7 machine, so i need some more information (do you use x64 or x86? And which service pack?)
- I forgot to adress the numbers on the keypad (as i am testing on a laptop right now), i will add support for them in the next version, thank you for the hint!
- I fixed the win+d freeze already, that wont happen in the next release i hope. (which will take some time, i have to structure from sratch, as the game gets a lot more complex than i thought
And thanks for the names idea, Pair-a-dice sounds nice :) I also thought about "Sexy gamble" since you gamble with strokes, not money :) Does anyone other has ideas in that direction?

make it create a simple log file thats it. And you'll know what's wrong.

I'm also having problems with countdowns. Program freezes everytime after countdown has gone for few seconds. Or actually it doesn't freeze in traditional way, just stops, it doesn't go unresponsive. I've also tried different combatibilty modes but doesn't seem to help at all
google for why delphy programms crash on Win 7. There's a lot of info and suggestions/solutions.
Some sources suggest disabling DEP for the program, for instance

I like the idea of it being random - however there's not enough in it.
How about whatever the player picks in strokes - he has to pay that first.
Then the dice are rolled - and the difference between them affects the number of strokes required - perhaps only the players result is shown and her result is kept secret.
If the required amount was 100, and the players roll matched the opponent then 100 would be enough.
If the players roll was 7 and the opponent was 8 then the player would need 110.
6 vs 8 would be 120
5 vs 8 would be 130
8 vs 9 would be 110
In other words 10% per digit out.
Likewise if the players roll is higher then that reduces the amount needed.
So a player can bid 50, stroke 50 times and then find out he was lucky because his roll was 10 vs 5.
He could bid 140, stroke 140 and then find out he was unlucky because his roll was 5 vs 10
However the more he bids the more chance he has of succeeding.
I just want to say, I love where this is going. This is a new level of interaction and I love it. Sure there need to be improvements, but hats off for going this far in the first place.
I can't wait until you add in the other mistress! Super Excited! Please keep working!

Thanks for the encouragement, i still work on it, but my vacation is over and the features need a lot of time. But its awesome to know that someone likes my work and is thankful for the effort!
I'm interested in this game and have tried downloading it (link is broken) and have in February this year send a message to Migano1, but still no reply. Does anyone still have this and could he or she put this up for download or even send it to me by mail if you'd prefer.
