Re: flash teases without Beat sound
I find a beat to me annoying, it grates on my nerves. Music with an obvious beat however was a good idea so long as it is not disco.

Re: flash teases without Beat sound
Beats in flash teases are entire optional, and in my opinion and experience there are plenty great examples of both kinds - some with and some without beats.
First of all, it varies greatly how assertive of dominating a tease is meant to be. That all depends on the tease story, the context and the creative ideas of the author.
Second, it is perfectly possible to be clear/dominating/forceful in your instructions without beats. As long as the intended pace is described well, lack of beats doesn't necessarily give you more freedom to choose your own pace.
For me though, I tend to prefer beats - simply for not having to pay too much attention to the pace and rather pay attention to the pictures and the storyline. Then again, in some cases beats can be distracting too.

Yes, I most certainly CAN do it again!
