Chat Update!

We now have multiple rooms!

Our Candychat (I guess this is the new name for chat from flashchat? idk), now has a menu when you first log into it asking where you would like to join.
Outside of that, once you are in a room. If you look in the bottom right, you will find a bunch of buttons like color and smiley. On the left of that row, left of the smiley/emoticon button you will find a button that will allow you to do join other rooms. It also seems, as per our previous design plan. To allow multiple room instances. Meaning! You can be in all 3 rooms at once if you so desire. Though, don't know if people will carry on conversations in the other rooms as this is a brand-spanking new feature of the chat. Since our old chat (boooooooo!) only allowed for you to be in a single room at a time.

For the moment, I believe this feature is permanent. As it is intended to be, but its quite possible seraph decided to put this active right now to stress test it...or beta test it...or some such.

If thats the case, then consider this the announcement of it, and if he didn't...well its still the announcement of it.

Ether way, if you find any bugs or problems with this let us know.

I just kind of presumed you were putting it in to be tested or it was done and you knew it would work fully.

Yes, it's a permanent feature. And thanks for pointing it out, I didn't even really think about it, it's just the way that XMPP works. You're going to have to thank Turtle for picking the right platform.

My next todos are frontend integration (showing gender in user list, link to Milovana profile) and improving some of the features we already have (see my notes in the initial post in the Status of Chat thread).
