Hello,

are there any members or creators of http://dominant-online.com/ here?? I asked it in german in the other thread but it seems the sites has vanished into thin air.

I loved the program and I'm still fiddling around with my script. Sometimes if think about translating it so I can share it with a greater community. But it seems there is no point to it if the program is no longer distributed.

I tried different programs, but all the others didn't seem as powerful or as good. e.g. I programmed things like you had to ask permission to leave (close program) otherwise the Mistress would get angry when you came back (started program).

So anyway the questiosn remains ... where did it and the creators go?

Now a bit more serious it's been offline for quite some time as far as I'm aware. This was actually the alternative to CM which I usually recommended after ending my own project.

It was the ideal surrogate since "Dominant Play" (dominant-online) copied nearly all features, started from the same syntax, used upcoming features I mentioned and implemented them in a bad way, copied the Star Member idea, etc. So despite what most people say, the content [they created] was not rendered useless at all. I've got no idea whether DomPlay has moved its community or what happened to it. I was actually quite curious myself where it was heading.

SexualChoc, did you try DomPlay (or Dominant Play or what was it called exactly)? That worked for most CM content and most features were copied or could be adapted with very little chance.

SexScript is as far as I know the latest addition and currently the most powerful/active community, with still lots of development going on (which is a good thing, as I hope to have set a new standard with CM for future programs like this). PCMistress2 is dead, PCM3 is too complicated for non-tech savvy users to get a hold of creating their own content, and Virtual Master is still around but no noticeable changes since 2003 or so.

There are indeed a lot of familiar faces on SS, so that might be the place to go. Some of the more famous authors, e.g. Banjo and I think mart_l_b, are over there now.

For selfbondage enthousiasts, there are a lot of links to very small tools at BoundAnna's forums; including some scenario generators / clothing pickers / CD tray openers / detection of movement /....

I've tried sexscripts and cm and in my opinion neither were or are as powerful as 'dominant online' was. But that wasn't the point of this topic.

I still use dominant3 and could still add alot of things to my script, but whats the point if there is no community to share it with. So I was searching where it went ... and it seems domplay has vanished for good ;(

PS: The script alone in plain text (syntax and text) is about 1mb, thats about 500 pages, it would take way to long to convert it to another program.

same like me... I searched around the internet and never found the same style... Dominant-Online was one of the best tease computerbased dominant-software with a lot of potential.
Horrible to know that i couldnt use more, as i tried to change some settings and i was logged out... from this time on i couldnt use more, cause he didnt find my username more :/

I still got the old (offline) version (v3) as I liked it more than the new v4 version. It still runs and my script works fine, but I can't share this version as I am not the creator, and I don't see any reason to improve my script if I have noone to share it with.
