Oh my! Looks like a debacle that I should take care of! I'm not Serbian, but my parents are, and that's close enough. Let's see...my basic guess on the pronunciation would be...

Mill-oh-vahn-ah

Something like that.

Hmmm...after a quick google search, I can tell you that Milovana is the name of a city in Ukraine. So, it might actually be a Ukrainian word, but the the Ukraine is relatively close to Serbia. The google search also gives links to people who are named Milovana, whether it be first or last. I'm not sure about the translation to "Mistress", I've tried a few english-to-serbian and back translators online, and none of them recognize milovana. They also give different results for mistress.

Well, what the word means is absolutely certain, it's Serbian for mistress, I got it from a printed German-Serbian dictionary and a native speaker confirmed it in the Welcome thread someplace. I just never thought about pronunciation, until it came up here.

But damn if it didn't throw a monkey wrench in every anagram I tried to create with it.

Those are indeed some fine anagrams. First I end up writing S-L.A.V.E. because of you and now you have my back with the anagrams, that's just awesome, thank you!

I would like to point out that my difficulty was coming up with good anagrams that used both "Milovana" and the names of Miss Tira, Christie, jp and CuriousBoy individually. That's my real white whale, though I have decided to not go the way of Ahab and began pursuing other interests.

P.S. The Session (and the intro too) rock of course. I confess I found it slightly odd - I typically go through a webtease at my reading speed, which is about a page a minute for a paperback, and it was odd being neither passive (as a usual hypnofantasy session is, with me listening to it) nor going at my regular reading speed, but I thoroughly enjoyed it of course - <G>
