How do you ruin your orgasm(s)?

The thing is... I like edging. i LOVE edging. I don't even care for orgasms all that much. Problem is i can't control myself. Unless i somehow force myself to stop, i just edge and edge right up until the inevitable accident, which mostly occurs before the end of day 3.

Basically i know of two ways:

1) Let it dribble. If it works, i can more or less go right back to edging. Except it only works very rarely for me. I can't help it. I just try to relax, breath deeply ... But my body thinks otherwise and just clenches it, resulting in orgasm, that is not satisfying, but it ends all fun nevertheless...

2) Block it. This is interesting method, that i only tried couple of times. It's relatively painful for me, and not fun at all. It makes me soft even more effectively than the first option, and also quite sore, BUT. It leaves me all itchy and unsatisfied, with no way of relieving it until i can get hard again which can be quite a while.
So that's sort of good-bad thing.
This way, too, i'm a little concerned about my health if i did it regularly.

It doesn't work for everyone, because some people still experience almost full orgasm even without touching (for example: me). Someone suggested immersing the cock and balls in a bowl of ice cold water right after tripping over the edge. Haven't tried it myself yet, but it sounds delightful. :)
