dom/domme List

I was chatting with someone fairly new
asking for forced bi and cum eating, neither of which I can really "Do"

and I realized I am a bit out of touch on the list of Dom/dommes here

I am not talking about the searching for
but I wonder if there was a way to gather
a list of currently active dominates
and the list of their areas for subbies

Though I am not sure how it would update
as some leave
or how we would keep it easy to find

this is just an idea.

and just wondering how other Dom/domme's feel about the idea.

like... f I knew of a subby that liked food play (just an example) which dom/domme would I recommend?

I can see the merits of such an idea. However I think the only real way of keeping up to date with peoples interests is if everyone keeps their profile up to date. And many many people do not bother to do this.
It is easy enough to see whether a person is active or not simply by checking when they last logged in on their profile.
And all this thought of profiles simply shows that such a list is really not needed. If prospective subs took time to look through the forums and spend time in chat then they would easily find their match. Should a match be out there of course. Not all dom/mes want another sub, and having a list of us will simply encourage unsolicited PMs surely?

So in short if everyone filled out their interests properly. the current "looking for" thread should be quite enough. any sub or dom/me looking for a sub can simply post in there.

In an ideal world....but we do not live in an ideal world. People dont fill in their profiles and people do not spend time getting to know prospective play partners.

Everyone expects instant gratification in this fast food on demand culture that we live in.

So my message is fill in your profile folks. Easiest way to let others know your current situation and intrests

Well thats the point isnt it. The doms who want to be found by prospective subs can advertise the fact on this thread here

I think what you are suggesting is more along the lines of a "personals" section where a search engine can look for available doms / subs.

Which again would lead to more unsolicited PMs for the doms and dommettes who dont want to take on extra subs.

As has been said, I think the fundamental issue is that there are so many more subs, that many dom/mes wouldn't want to be listed as it would lead to a lot of unwanted PMs and solicitation. Realistically you can find those who are active if you read the forums or hang out in chat...

I don't know of any dominant on her who has complained about being able to find a sub... Which would explain the lack of any call for such a system by dom/me(s). I think that such a system would actually be detrimental overall, as it would lead to dom/me's getting more harassment / people begging to be their sub.
