Adverse effects of chastity or cbt?

Hi all,

I’m relatively new to this site and have a few questions that I’m sure others have also had—and figured I would try and get any information all in one place.

Over the years I have engaged in pretty light cbt play, and recently have been experimenting with chastity. I would like to make sure that anything I do is safe, and while I have not had any adverse effects from doing anything on this site, was wondering if anyone knew of potential health problems with things—like fertility—down the road.

Like most things in life, nearly anything in moderation will often not cause any problems. I have looked for information on the subject of chastity and cbt in regards to fertility and other medical conditions, but have not found much (or—at least from a reliable source).

So, has anyone had similar concerns and talked to a doctor about it, or found reliable medical information on point?

As far as I know there are no studies on long term effects

For fertility question, if you partner wants to get pregnant you should stop Chasity play
make sure you hydrate well but at least one day of denial is recommended before you "try"


I was finally brave enough to talk to a doctor about
wearing a chastity belt
he said and I quote
"as long as it brings you pleasure your find"

but was a fully licensed physician in USA.

I am fairly sure there are some small cosmetic effects I have notice
having practiced chastity for several years
it appears my balls have gotten bigger
and my dick appears thicker.

Obviously CBT can do you some harm if it goes too far and causes physical damage. I would limit binding your genitals to 15-20 minute sessions...

Chastity it's self will not harm you, as long as any devices do not cause physical damage. It's not like your balls are going to explode if you are not allowed to cum Sure it's a fun fantasy but the reality of vasectomy pretty much puts that to rest.

Like most things the body needs to adapt to new experiences so take things gently at first as you explore personal limits.

One very simple clue is temperature if blood flow is restricted the affected area will feel cold and so releasing/removing that will allow blood flow and that part will quickly reheat.
Application of external heat is never the answer.

The only thing I have noticed is that my balls have streched a liitle bit from wearing a device for so long. Milking yourself is a good idea every now and then to keep things healthy
