Tend to do 'randoms' so not really aware of the 'time shift'! Forget to look how old the teases are.
If you've done the "x" tease or simply read it i'd like some feedback about asking the stranger for permission to come. Or perhaps you could point out that a topic already exists on this?!
just wanted to give my solution:
I live in France so when I met two ladies on the footpath I just blurted out "May i have your permission to come?" in English. Chances of finding two people who don't understand any English at all here are slim. But on the other hand, if you talk at fairly normal speed most won't follow straight off, particularly out of context. So, relieved not to get a slap, but pleasantly surprised to receive directions to the chapel in fairly good English..nice buzz!
So; did I cheat? Should I have not said 'eglise' after?
