Defensible. The Stroker's Ace Challenge does this really well with no meter, only the sound of the expected beat superimposed (surprisingly unobtrusively) over the music and the occasional text prompt when something changes. I don't find the visual meters as distracting as some as long as they're smoothly integrated with the music - the only time they actively distract me is when they're off, as sometimes happens in the Hardcores - but I did find myself focusing on the images maybe a little more with the Stroker's Ace approach.wangchungass wrote:I personally prefer no stroke meter as it takes it away from the action.
