Sounds like you have a good thing going and it beats me why anyone would want to criticize that.

Isn't making money one of the prime activities ALL adults do most of their lives? It's called making a living because it is in fact a requirement in life.

This is, from my perspective, pretty much the same principle as if you were to rent a professional escort - not necessarily sexual in nature even, just a hired girl to be at your side through whatever party or occasion you are going to... Sure, it is a paid professional who is there because of the money. She would not been there at all if there was no pay. But does that mean she necessarily takes no pride in her work or the satisfaction of her customers - beyond mere reputation building and hoping to make more money later? Although most of us may seem like greedy bastards in life, keep in mind that we are talking about human beings here. And as such, although greedy bastards, most humans also are plagued with something known as empathy

I believe most people who have ever been in any kind of service oriented business, and at least those who have liked it, agree with me when I say you often get far more out of being nice to others than mere materialistic gains. You gain the nice feeling of knowing you make others feel well treated, possibly a little beyond what they feel they have payed you to do.

I don't know Josephine at all, but I choose to believe she is a professional that actually cares about her customers because she wants to - and since no one can really prove otherwise, I think I'll let it rest right there
