Most of my comments/warnings from the first one apply here too:
1) If you're adverse to seeing guys in CH videos, this is not for you, at least after the 2nd round.
2) Other than round titles and the between-round-break-timer, there's no text. I'm much more inclined on the technical side of this stuff than anything creative. Also, that lets it just be you, the music (and beat), and the video.
3) There is a beat meter. However, I did not go through the time of adding in text blurbs for when the beat changes, and some songs have a lot of them.
4) This video is intended to be enjoyed while using a multi-channel audio device. Certain audio tracks (beat, music, video audio) have different ear-emphasis, and to best enjoy it you need at least Stereo sound.
And some new warnings/info/comments:
1) If you didn't like my use of jump cuts/lots of girls per round in the first one, you are likely not going to like this one either. However, I'd like to think I made things a little less jarring this time. On the whole, the clips should last longer, and are tied MUCH closer to the beat of the song, so they should ideally feel more natural. However, this kind of montage video is what I like (both in terms of watching and creating), so don't expect it to go away.
2) Speaking of which, the beat should be mapped much closer to the beat of the song. This has the potential downside of the beats being a little simpler, but the advantage of it being easier to keep with them as long as you can keep a rhythm.
3) In many rounds, the beat starts seconds after the the video fades in. I highly suggest you are "at the ready" once the round number/name appears.
4) In Round 7, when the beat in the song starts picking up, get ready for a rapid session.
6) In Round 8, when "You better get ready for the kick drum", you better get ready for an irregular beat.
7) In Round 14, all "Di-di-di-di-disco stick-stick"'s after the first one have the beat tied to that.
So, here's the pertinent info:
14 Rounds
1 hr 3 min 09 seconds long
720p (and actually at a bitrate high enough (and with source material at high enough resolution) to make that resolution worthwhile)
H.264 encoding
2.26 GB
The HD file has been split into 3 ZIP files. For best experience, probably use 7Zip to extract them. You need to have all 3 files downloaded to extract the file properly.
Password is "hiphop" (no quotes, just hiphop)
HD Part 1
HD Part 2
HD Part 3
Lo-Resolution Version
Also, since I failed to put it in the credits, big thanks to AndyP for posting his solution for easier beat-making.
Like last time, I have no idea when I will be able to work on these again, but after the response for the first one, I'm planning to make more. Speaking of which, I'll work to get lower resolution versions of CH-H1 and H2 up ASAP, as people have been requesting it.
