According to Yahoo News and several other sources both SOPA and PIPA are permanently postponed. According to the PIPA sponser it is "postponed until there is wider agreement on a solution". There are still other proposals in the wings such as OPEN.

According to everything I have found the changes were caused by the web blackout and the number of constituents calling and writing in against them.

When I called one of my Senators I got a real human staffer who said their office has been swamped with e-mails and phone calls running about 99% against the bills.
