A few thoughts

Post by Catboy »

I've been having some thoughts lately, and I figure'd I'd explore them here.

Lately, a certain part of the bdsm fantasy has lost a little bit of interest for me. One of the most common themes is worship, right? Usually either of women or men. Well, I'm gay, so... why would I do what you say, just to see some boob? Although the idea of femdom does have some appeal, I guess it has more to do with the idea of servitude in general. Of course, if I don't want to serve a girl, I could always serve a guy. Butmost stories of that sort tend to involve humiliating the sub by forcing him to serve a man, something most guys would rather not do (since most guys are straight). So when I come across something like, "You like cock, don't you?" all I can say is, "Well, yeah, of course." "You'd rather take a hard cock up your ass than fuck my pussy, wouldn't you?" "Sure, why not?" [gah, I'm not used to writing such things...]

It's kind of hard to be embarrassed about liking guys when I'm openly gay, you know? Of course, even straight girls would probably be embarassed to admit that sort of thing. But a lot of teases involve questioning the (usually male) sub's masculinity, which is why the idea of forced bi can be so humiliating. But it's kind of hard to question my masculinity, 'cause I'm not really all that maculine to begin with. I'm not interested in beer, sports, explosions, or girls. But I do like pink, frilly, cute, romance, and guys. Just what masculinity is a dom/me going to threaten?

Of course, there's more than one way to force a sub into subbiness, or "submission," as most people call it. I mean, you don't normally tease a girl about being effeminate. There are way, and you bet your ass (and any other body part they tell you to bet) they'll think of one. Fortunately, even though I'm not really attracted to girls in that way, I am kind of attracted to the idea of femdom, so it's not like I've lost all interest that genre. It's just that when a straight guy is ordered to serve a man, they might think "but I don't want to!" and that reluctance makes it all the more humiliating. Being gay, I'm a lot less reluctant, and so I don't really feel that little layer of humiliation that you might. I mean, forced bi for me (and I will admit that I am rather bi-curious) means being with a girl, which is hardly embarrassing. Though the thought of actually having sex with a girl is a little... :-/ Honestly, your "reward" isn't quite so appealing to me...

Oh well. Different strokes (or in this case, stroking material) for different folks, I suppose.

It'd be the opposite. Your femdom would set you to tasks involving pleasing a male, (if she has multiple subs, i guess it could work) should you fail, you'd have to practice your talents on her, (there's also some edging in there involving your preferences, but hey I'm new and I don't want to just be all out there :)

Catboy,

Thank you for writing this. It was very insightful and interesting.
I have to say that I hadn't really given thought to the submissive male not being "forced" to do something. This was very eye opening for me and has given me some things to think about.

So, what you need is a relationship, with a male, that is tender, where there is bondage, teasing, denial, and pain if you are into that, but also making love, sharing tender moments, expressions of emotions.

That's what Master and I have. I don't see why a male/male relationship can not work the same way. I had just never thought of it like that.

Great read. Thank you *smile*

If I understand what you're getting at clearly...then the solution is simple.
If you're gay, then instead of a female Domme (femdom) then you would probably prefer a male Dom (maledom). Although, admittedly, most maledom on the net is going to be guys dominating women, not men, but I trust you get my point. You need a Dom instead of a Domme. The rest is pretty much the same besides the obvious anatomical differences.

As for the humiliation aspect of a guy being forced bi...it still could work on you, although,as you mentioned, perhaps not quite as embarrasing because you'd be doing something considered the social norm. However, I assume society at large isn't involved in your bedroom habits, so on a personal level it should be similar. It depends on whether you're simply disinterested in women or if you have a strong aversion to them. (Sexually, I mean.) If you really have a strong aversion to sex with a woman, then being forced to do so by a Dom would offer you a similar experience with the humiliation most straight guys would feel pleasuring a man. However, if you're simply disinterested, then the resulting humiliation is going to be somewhat less. Just as I assume the humiliation is less for a bi-sexual male being "forced" to service a man. If he wants to do it, then he isn't being "forced" in the first place and it's probably not at all humiliating for him.

As for the other parts of the humiliation experience you mention...obviously in the teases you're reading, they are written with straight males as the target audience. I mean, it only seems obvious that the easiest way for women to insult a straight man is to insult his masculinity. It is fairly common for us all the think of ourselves as "big, strong, alpha male" types. Quite a little "shock" to the fragile male ego to listen to some tiny little woman he could otherwise easily overpower tell him how much of a man he is not.

Personally, I must say I find the irony of it a bit humorous. A woman telling a man what is and what is not "manly"? I snicker everytime I read something like that. It's a bit like asking the Pope to tell you what Buddha would do. However, I not a sub, so maybe that's just me.

Anyway, hope that helps in at least some small way.
