Man, you should LINK your button to the page you want to be shown after clicking it. To do this open VISUAL tab of your editor, go to the BUTTONS tab, and you'll see a table of 2 columns. In the first one there is a NAME of a button, it can be changed only if you use CUSTUM button type. In the second column, there's the LINK to where the button leads us. Instead of start#, which is, to say, the name of a first page, you need to write there a name of the page you want to get to. Like page2# for example, and DON'T FORGET #!!!
Now, with delays you do exactly the same - they are to be lnked to something.

P.S. Tell me, was it REEEEEEEALY hard to read the forum and at least make a tease work, before you publish it?

Yes he should have read the forums
But in reality very few people actually look/take-in/and process
what is on forums even in you glance at Nxy forum posts
that is a lot of reading.
And real reading is quickly becoming a lost art.

I shortened the code line so all the stuff you don't mess with is not there and I highlighted with red
The stuff you DO alter, Makes sure the start page goes to page 2 and the next page goes to 3 and so on Make sure you keep the word lower case, I have to often made the mistake of puting a capital P in page.
Also Seraph may be willing to help but probably will not rewrite the whole tease for you.

you are WRONG because it is VERY noob-friendly. There's a limit to wich the editor must write a program for you. It can't write the whole thing for you. If it would autoset the page when the button is created - it'll be much harder to use. Unless, off course, if you wanted to make a straight-forward tease like normal one.

Believe me - it is 100% the fault of the author. And it really IS a place to laugh at him, for it's not just a noobish error - which is a normal thing to all of us when we start something new. NO. He got a full answer in he's topic, and he still published the unworking tease - which is, to say, can't be done unintentionally by mistake.

I have to agree with Nezul on this one. While Nyx has its quirks, it isn't that difficult to master its basic functions. If you can't figure out a function and don't want to look it up, you can always post your question in the forum. It may take a while to get an answer but you will eventually receive one.

The fundamental failure in this case was not Nyx but failure to check the work. Checking your work a tedious but necessary step in writing a tease. The tease probably would not have been rated so low had it properly worked when it was published.

Should Haggard be judged harshly for his mistake. Probably not. However, I'm just one person. As lesub notes "Experience is a hard Mistress. She gives the test first, the lesson afterwards."
