Also, this shit is so absolutely wrong that I don't even know where to begin. It absolutely pisses me off when people presume to use gender, any gender, as an insult for anything. But it especially infuriates me when it's about retarded bullshit.

Cut it out, grow up, you're not a child.
I agree totally esp the last sentence I swear sometimes I wonder about the ages of some of the members. They act like everything should be about them...you don't like a tease, do another one you do like...but quit wining about it...I swear I want to offer some cheese with all the wine...

As one who has called Goddess Josephine's phonesex line, i can say She is who She says She is. She is professional, She is experienced, She is loving and She is caring. She knows how to tease and control. i have been on an incredible journey with Her for over 6 months. She is a perfect fit for this site.
Ok, let's say that this was an IT website, historically populated by amateur IT lovers who would write on the forums about the IT they loved and distribute the (excellent) programs they had made by posting them on the site. Let's say a pro becomes a member, gets involved in the community. What would the community's response be?
Not a simple question. I think a lot would depend on how the pro went about being a member. If the pro only engaged with the community to the extent that they might say "I have the answer to your question - pay me $25 and I'll answer it" or only posted snippets of their programs on the site with invitations to pay for the full program, the community, quite rightly I think, would be very unhappy about their free space of the web was being invaded and might be worried about the future of their community. If, on the other hand, the pro engaged fully in the community, offering as good advice and programs as were offered by other members I think the community would probably be happy.
Now we all know the internet can be a volatile social space. People can get all riled up for a variety of reasons and the amplification of feelings of dislike can be jarring. Something in real-life that we disagree with might get us up to a "3" on the anger meter, the same thing online might take that same person up to a "9".
This isn't an IT website, it's a (this is a difficult one...!) Femdom(?) website. We ought to realise that the professional Femdom has a private and personal life, the same as an IT professional, and may like to spend some time outside the commercial arena to indulge their passion. So I think the question for the professional Femdom is this: are you here to enhance your commercial life or your personal life?
As a community we will judge this motivation according to actions. I think Goddess Josephine has contributed to the community in ways that could be construed as being both commercially and personally motivated. She has submitted material to the site both with and without commercial invitations but, to be fair, the most visible material (the webteases) have had some commercial content. On the other hand she has got involved in forum threads and not attempted to elicit any commercial transactions.
So, in summary, I welcome you here Goddess Josephine, but this is contingent on your motivation and, unfortunately my perception of it. Do you want to pick up business or do you want to chill out here, indulging your passion outside of your 9-5?
If you sole purpose of being a member of this site is to advertise and make money.
Then I agree that is not what this site was made for.
In this case I suggest you email Seraph0x the site owner and come to a compromise.
I am sure you and he can reach agreements.
If however you merely wish to share your knowledge and experience with us then that is OK.
You are able to inform us about your sites in the "Site & Product Reviews" section of the forums.
Keeping to that side of the fence that is information and not advertising,
A very delicate line to follow I appreciate.
I wish you good wishes and hope to see and hear more from you.

Ok here's what I'm thinking and being completely candid ...
Most experienced femdom's or the like are in some phase of the sex industry. Most of us enjoy what we do. Looking at your teases I'm guessing that most are made by other men, right? If women didn't get slammed for adding a little promo I'm guessing you'd get a lot more. So rather then cut your nose to spite your face I'd invite them to promote their services. There could be some guidelines on how its done. This way you get lots of great free teases and content from actual women.
Am I here to solely to make money? No. Do I market myself through many venues, absolutely, why not? I provide a legitimate service to people who make not have the ability to explore otherwise. Its not just phone sex but 30% of my calls are conversation, someone needs to talk about their feelings and frustrations. I've helped countless including couples. So I'm thrilled to talk about what I do and promote myself. There are lots of sites to do this. I select sites I have a personal interest in. I admit that after all this and how immature some of the post I see, its becoming less attractive. I'm sure women that might have otherwise posted might feel the same.
Speaking for myself, I'm ecstatic for you to be here and part of the community for a number of reasons.
Firstly, it heartens me that someone in the 'business' can let their hair down and be here for their "personal interest(s)". It's good to know that some of those who make a living as a professional dominant are not just in it for the money.
Secondly, as you rightly point out, it's great for a variety of reasons to have more women as part of the community.
However, I would like you to understand that this second should not be a focal point for "take it or leave it approach". One of the things that really annoys me about Femdom in the public sphere is the sheer commodification of it all, and I'm certain I'm not the only one who feels this way. One of the reasons I visit this site is because I know that my sexual peccadilloes are not going to be used as an instrument for someone else to 'shake me down' for some cash. It is in this sense that I find the caveat that we, as a community, ought to accept "a little promo" in return for more women gracing the site to be a little distasteful. I think we've all seen sites where this happens (I vaguely remember clicking onto a site that offers audio and each recording ended with "call me on 1-800-blah-blah to find out if I'm going to let you cum or not") and it's not something that I would like to see Milovana turn into; that is, if that is the alternative I'm more than happy with Milovana as it is. (I'm happy with Milovana anyway!)
You counter some of the (in my view over-the-top) criticism here by saying you're not here "solely to make money". Again, speaking for myself, in my view the Milovana community is based on its members not being here to make money at all. So, if you're here to contribute, do the Milovana-thing, keep your links in your profile and comment signature, make teases for the sake of teases, make comments for the sake of comments, then great. I say welcome aboard and hope that we can all but this rather messy discussion behind us. If members want to call you, then great, they can. If a/the reason you're here to make even some money, I say thanks but no thanks. If we want pay-to-play it's really easy to find.
Yes one of the problems on this site is so many women are frightened away by either being swamped with
"pleading Nuisances".
Or unwelcome comments in the forums.
I would like to ask you to give us a few more days than the recent turbulent three you have weathered.
I am hopeful that we have quietened the frightened.
And a more fruitful time lies ahead between us.
I am absolutely positive that if you feel up to it a Forum or Chat Room group tease,
Would be gratefully received.
Showing more happy experiences are possible to all.

My recorded teases all have my url on the end. That's just how it is. I work too hard on them and record a lot. You don't have to listen if the ending url offends you or leaves you feeling strange. I have some awesome audios so I'd say give it a try and see how you like it. I am happy to share and I'm not trying to shake down your money. lol
First of all let me say that I love this site and appreciate all that everyone brings to it. Although I prefer to stay in the shadows for the most part, I needed to make my voice heard on this particular issue.
This isn't the first time we have a had a lovely dominant female on this site who has had their own personal site that offered them some financial gain.
The two that come to mind immediately, and I am sure there have been others, are.
AdoreKristina - She has a website that needs a subscription to enter.
And I might get beat up for this one but the lovely,
Little Miss Jay - website may have been free but also offered services such as panties for sale and keyholding all for a price.
I may be wrong, but I don't remember anyone coming out against them being here.
In my humble opinion, Goddess Josephine having a blog that offers phone sex is no different then a website that offers panties, keyholding services, or members only private section.
There is plenty of free information on her blog to make it an enjoyable experience just to browse through it without giving her any money.
So I say
Thank you for coming into our part of the web and sharing your knowledge. I think you will be a lovely addition to this forum and look forward to hearing what you have to say.
Thank you for providing a service for all who enjoy phone sex. (I have never personally called her)
Thank you for providing your blog that has so much insightful information and plenty of playful stories.
While spam or outright advertising should not be welcomed on this site, I fail to see the harm in someone sneaking in an url or two as part of their teases. It's not like it's spam in anybody's face or anything worth getting worked up over. Even less so if the site in question is not commercial.

No one is slamming anyone for adding a promo. In fact if you look through the webteases you'll find there have been quite a number of women that have promoted their sites through teases. But there's a difference between promoting and making a "tease" like this, that is basically just an ad that says "go to my website and buy this".

Well then maybe you should stop for a second and think why that is. The answer is in the first part of my post.
