Remaking a tease

Post by SissyNicole »

Hi everyone, I was looking through some old (REALLY old) teases, and saw that a lot of them had very good ideas, but had a few problems, such as:
*Poor Punctuation
*Grammatical errors
*Unrealistic tasks
*10 sentences combined into 1

I don't know about anyone else, but nothing kills a tease for me more than having to reread the same text over and over to try and decipher the meaning.

I would like to redo some of these teases, and have actually already started on one, but my question is do I have to ask the original creators of these teases before hand? The one tease I really liked was from sammy21sissy, but he (she?) is not active anymore, so there would be no way to get permission from this person.

I know catusman re-did a classic
http://www.milovana.com/webteases/showtease.php?id=9224
as well as Ford
http://www.milovana.com/webteases/showtease.php?id=9752
and cumhardy
http://www.milovana.com/webteases/showtease.php?id=9217

hope that helps with some ideas on the how to re-do a classic.
I also recommend talking to catcusman who has re-done several
and I strongly recommend contacting seraph
because policy on this do change

I did post a series on a web-site that was closed down,
but gave full credit for all content to the original author,
however that was a while ago and am not sure, 100% on current feeling on this idea.
