Just a quick note on this: Many imagehosting websites try to protect their pictures from hotlinking, that is from referring directly to the .jpg or whatever file. This is to reduce their traffic without gaining any visitors for their site (which would improve the value of the site). It is always a nice way to link the complete page, or alternatively copy the picture, and host it anywhere else, to as you do

The thing is I can see the pictures on my laptop in England

But not by others in America for instance.
And at times not on my phone either.

Have had a thought could it br a Cache thing?
Although I saw pics from shell on my phone and not on my laptop.
both using the wifi I have at home.
