Move them to anouther website!

Can't say I think you're making a bad decision. I pretty much agree with you to a point. Simple fact is, that Milovana itself isn't really going downhill, it's just one guy. Seems to me that nobody could be as stupid as jryan to keep posting bad teases. If you ask me, he's just being an asshole 'cuz he thinks it's funny.

Anyway, you fought. Which is alot more than about 98% of the rest of the Milovana community did. (including myself) Thanks for all the effort, and all the good teases. Best we can all do now is hope that jryan winds up in a coma due to choking himself for fun.

I think the majority of Milovians who dislike speases, will avoid them.

I do think filter OUT facilities should/must be added.

Choc, the fact that you were made moderator doesn't mean that you'll be listened to. There is ONE site owner, and it's his call to make a certain decisions. You already achieved the filter for downrated teases, but now you want more. And when rejected - you get butthurt and go shitting on a forum. What the hell?! Just fucking sit tight and enjoy the goddamn site, you won't find ANYTHING similar on the entire net, so just shut up and relax. You are welcome to suggest any ideas you have, but going crazy about it is stupid. It's your call to stop writing teases due to any reason, but starting a drama thread on forums is plain pathetic.

Bit of a lurker on this site but I don't like seeing this community in turmoil over a few bad eggs.

Personally I think there's a lot of good tease authors still out there making stuff, and quite a few promising ones who have only just begun to share their work with us. Doing something 'drastic' (i.e. creating a hugely disproportionate amount of drama) is more likely to send this site into a downward spiral with as people get involved in arguments and leave in disgust, than it is to somehow fix everything.

The fact is, the overall quality of the teases continues to be amazing when one considers that milovana is 1. totally free and 2. user created, with 3. no restrictions stopping people from making whatever they want. This is the internet we're talking about. I'm surprised it's taken this long for poor teases to emerge, but that doesn't mean we're out of a 'golden age' and that its all downhill from here on out. Part of it is that I think the ratings have become a lot more critical than they used to as people are accustomed to a fairly high standard. Go back a few years and I think you'll agree, a 4 star tease wouldn't have got so much if it was made now.

If you really want to give up because some people make bad teases then as les said those teases will become more prominent. Whereas good teases are appreciated that much more for not being trash when there's trash around. Maybe this site does need a 'filter out' option - even though bad teases are already hidden automatically. What I'm saying is don't overlook the massive good points of this site because of a few bad teases. There's no alternative to turn to and there's not much that can be done about said teases without compromising the creative potential of new authors. Besides, its hardly fair to ban somebody just because their work sucks.

We sure have had a run of poorly made teases lately. I'm an optimist though and wait for gems to appear. Hopefully we'll continue to see teases in the future by some great authors like NEZHUL, MIKE1978, CHEWIT, MAZI, TIGGERLY1, MYDECOY, ORGASMMODERATOR, ALL2TRUE, MOUSE, NEVERLETMECUM and 1885 to name a few. We all like new, well made teases, but in the mean time we can always go back to some of the above authors and get to the place in subspace we all love!
I appreciate the efforts of new authors and hope there are some great up and cummers in the future.

I agree with Alliteration's "modification." People who create teases for the first time are going to create sucky ones. Completely filtering the sucky would make it impossible for new peeps to improve. The massive number of "Looking for master/slave" ads is truly annoying though. Milovana could create a limit (tease must be at least 10 pages in length), but that would filter out the Cockhero series.

Maybe auto-deleting low-rated teases after they age past two weeks or something will clean up the tease section, but I don't think there really is much that can be done without harming the good teases, or legit tease creators.

I believe there is an option to rate teases? I believe there is an option to list teases in order of ranking? The solution would seem to be simple - rate the crud low and then it will sink to the bottom of the display.

Personally I feel extremely lucky to have free access to a site that has webteases that cater to my kinks. I am happy to put up with some crap along the way.

Oh and on every other forum I see there is usually a warning Not To Feed The Troll.

Plus I see we can filter out the lowest rated teases now.

Well that is your choice to make Choc. I've been a member of this site for some time too. Most of the teases out there aren't my cup of tea. In fact I've got less than 3 pages of favorites that I've "starred". I also see the bs teases and I just skip over them.

This site is free to join, free to add new material...totally free. I want it to stay that way. If it means having a 100 bs teases for 1 great tease then so be it. I see no need to get my butt hurt just because a tease I wrote is swallowed up and pushed to page 3 instead of page 1, where everyone can see it. I've got a muse to write teases but I've been swallowed up by much better writers for years. In all this time, this site has been around for what 5 years. I've never even been nominated for a TOTM and most of my teases are in the 4's....I figured the voting was rigged and I had no chance so I decided to not write for a while...I've made some comebacks but still same results.

I mean the group has ran off some great authors and mistresses along the way of these 5 years. But I still don't complain because it is free of charge.

The key word is FREE....

The influx of crap seems to have stopped for now, from the latest 30 teases on the site, 10 are rated 4 or higher and and only 3 are rated low enough to be hidden by the filter.

Guess how it happened? People wrote some good stuff instead of moaning threatening to quit.
You're not going to quit, you can't. Milovana is in your bloodstream. The only person to successfully escape was submatt and even he comes back for a fix now and then.
Look at Indigo, he's quit once a week since he joined (just kidding Indy)

Seriously, we had like a couple of weeks of spam teases and everyone thinks milovana is going down the drain.
