As I work to create a good tease,
Having a real problem. Many, if not most,
of the popular teases here contain explicit
instructions on male masturbation.
Now I have given lots of hand jobs,
but seriously, some people here are experts.

Questions people might help me answer,

As with anything, some people dislike metronomes, others like them. Some people want vague instructions while others prefer specific instructions.

I agree 1885 is great.

There are lots of different opinions, but I think there are some things that most people will agree on, like some basic DONTs:

1) Don't just leave a timer and some text saying "stroke once per second for me, loser." Nothing stops a tease dead better than a sixty second timer staring back at you. Boring!

2) The brain is the largest erogenous zone, so don't underestimate the importance of writing! Personally my pet peeve is lazy word choice. People, not every instance of the word "hard" has to be prefixed by "nice and." Real people don't talk in stock porn phrases. Other people might get worked up over other things, but in any case, writing quality is extremely important.

3) Don't make the pace difficult to follow. I don't mean the tease shouldn't be demanding. I mean it should be consistent. Don't tell the reader to edge on the second page. Or if you do go fast, don't drop a five minute period in the middle with no stroking. Always test out your teases to make sure the pace is consistent. And since different people want to stroke at different speeds, make sure the tease either accommodates them or gives them clues about pace.

4) I personally don't like metronomes, but a lot of people love them. But if you do use a metronome, please for the love of God don't use that annoying Pong beeping noise. It sounds like I'm being masturbated by a microwave oven.

I'm a flashtease and metronome guy. However, what I prefer should not be the basis of your tease. There are many fine classic teases written and there are many fine teases written without metronomes. If you try to please everyone, you'll please no one. All I tried to provide was different styles of instructions. If none of those styles of instructions suit your needs that's fine also. Everyone has their own writing style. You just have to find it and develop it.
