Glossolalia: Speaking in tongues.

And it's self-referential, which is always a bonus.

Heck, and I just thought it was speaking in tongues. *giggling* Guess that was too long of phrase and it needed shortened.

Well, I shall start with this one, since I already know from this point forward, most of mine will be sexual related. *giggling*

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

Wikipedia gives this definition...
The roots of the word have been defined as follows: super- "above", cali- "beauty", fragilistic- "delicate", expiali- "to atone", and docious- "educable", with the sum of these parts signifying roughly "Atoning for educability through delicate beauty."

How's that? Do I get an A+???? *giggle*

I was once signed up for a word of the day e-mail. They were usually words I wasn't familiar with and would rarely have an occasion to use. I remember exactly one word after three months of e-mails -- redoubt meaning hidden place, refuge, or stronghold. Though usually applied to earthwork defensive fortifications I consider Milovana here to be a redoubt for me.

I don't really know if it's a favorite, but I really like the etymology of "santorum"

I was just reminded of one of my favorite words......and yes, I'm serious, not trying to derail the thread....

Xanax.......
