Sub-forum for Video Teases/Cock Hero

I think given the speed at which these are gaining popularity, that these teases should get their own sub-forum. So there is one spot that everyone can goto to get help creating them, post them, and give feedback without needing to dig and sort through the much bigger parent forum.

Really an explanation is unnecessary and I can't see a reason not to add this. It can only make everything better.

P.S. A video filter under "Type" in the webtease browser would also be nice.

P.S.S. When this is implemented, would be nice to have a mod move the current topics over to the new sub-forum.

Seriously, why not make it easier to find such video teases and discussions of them? Otherwise, pretty soon people who "write" and do such teases will start complaining about all the other types of teases that are "getting in their way." (Just wait, it already happened with flash teases, and the post that I'm replying to is the first of this trend, I predict.) And besides, thus would help those of us who don't want to read the same text, explaining the same set of rules over and over again...

I'm looking at the top of the webpage right now and there seems to be room for a few more words. How about Captioned Images and Video Teases. You could make a spot for flash teases too.

Not only do I believe that there should be a sub-forum for video teases, but there should be a standard set of rules as well.

Lalaland, Andyp and Vindicare have set a really good standard for video teases, not just in their content, but the way that their accessible and the actual quality of these video teases. Most of all, they're made to be shared and enjoyed by Milovana members with no actual intent for profit.

I bring this point up because I can EASILY see it going south if Milovana doesn't have some set of standards for video teases. That is, opportunistic uploaders will simply start uploading various "commercialized" porn videos and furthermore, use filehost websites that either require or strongly encourage downloaders to buy a membership to that filehost service (i.e. Filesonic, Oron, etc.,).

I've only been at Milovana for a few months - I came here because I discovered the 'Cock Hero' series uploaded on one of those other adult forums. Since then, I've enjoyed Milovana because, even though it's about adult sexuality with naughty content, it has a huge community aspect that's all about sharing and exploring the nature of sex. The last thing I would want to see is it become porndump like the various other porn forums (i.e. pornbb).

As of right now, it's not a problem but it would be wise for the admins to be proactive and "nip this in the butt" before it does become really problematic. So, just a few suggestions:

1) Posting formats:
Have a set format on how video teases should be posted. This should include file size, resolution, file type, download links and so on. It would be great if video tease posts could include a screencap requirement as well

2) Approved list of filehost services
If a member wants to post a video tease, they have to use one of the approved Milovana filehost services. Ifile has worked great and should be included - Rapidshare, Mediafire, Megaupload and Toucansharing all have good free options for downloaders. Filesonic, Fileserve and Wupload are ok but I'm always wary of filehosts that gives incentives to uploaders to upload more. Oron and Depositfiles should not be included - Depositfiles for their inconsistent download speeds and rather long wait times and Oron for their low download speeds and their atrociously long wait times between downloads (2 HOURS!?!?). I'll admit that I hate Oron with quite a passion so I'm pretty biased against using them - but that doesn't mean I'm wrong.

3) Approval period to post Video Teases
It might be a good idea - either by approval by admins or after participation in the forums through post count - that there be a "trial period" before any member can start uploading video teases. Guys like andyp and vindicare, who have already demonstrated their wonderful shares to Milovana, should be automatically excluded from this "trial period". This will once again, cut down on any "greedy" uploaders who are just uploading video teases for nothing other than virtual profit.

Sorry for the long reply here - just quite passionate about this because I don't want to see a pretty neat adult community like Milovana get ruined to becoming a porndump.

I agree with everything here besides the screencaps, they can be rather annoying. I'm looking to encourage uploaders, and things like this tend to discourage them.

I agree here, there should be a sticky with this information. With recommended websites and sites that should be avoided.

Again, saying that they can't upload to certain places is a bit harsh. In the end, someone can re-upload it to a different server or something. If they don't want to upload to a recommended host, then it is their loss.

Disagree with entirely because the videos are not being hosted on milovana. It is simply a sub-forum with threads that contain links. I find it is pretty easy to decipher between something like Cock Hero and things not Cock Hero. As such, mods can easily remove things that don't belong.

I feel that their should be a clear definition of what goes in the sub-forum. I don't want the same vagueness that haunts the webtease section in the sub-forum. The goal of the sub-forum is to promote these new style of teases and help others learn how to create them. Not to become a video-hub for porn.
