If you're reading this, you're viewing Milovana from our brand-new server. This doesn't mean the work is quite done yet. But from here on out there shouldn't be any major downtime.
Now, every time we move servers, there is a good chance that some stuff will break. So keep your eyes open and please do report anything that isn't working. Thanks!

(I sent you an email about this, too. this post is only to prevent duplicate reports from other users)
Minor issue: http://www.milovana.com seems to function correctly but http://milovana.com points to a default webpage telling that it works but not showing your actual site.
Good luck.

thank you for taking such good care of our community *bright smile*
Re: Server move!
The server was down for several hours this morning. A restart fixed it, but our monitoring wasn't updated for the new server, so I didn't actually find out the site was down until somebody emailed me. The monitoring is now updated and should alert me the next time something goes wrong.
Re: Server move!
I spent some time today optimizing the new server setup. Images will now be served from our own region-specific Squid reverse proxy servers rather than directly from Amazon S3. This should make them load faster and it'll save us a lot of money on Amazon's traffic bill.
Along with lots and lots of smaller optimizations (better cache settings, newer Analytics code, subdomain-specific cookies, tweaked Apache settings), we got the following end result:
Not bad, eh? Ok, Amsterdam is a pretty unfair location to test from, since that's where our EU server is... But I'll take it.
Jokes aside, before the optimization the load time was 3 seconds, now it's down to < 1 seconds, which is a decent improvement.
Let me know if you noticed any change for the better or for the worse.
Side note: My fiddling around caused a temporary login problem, which should be fixed now. So if you had trouble logging in, try again now. If it still won't work and you're sure you have cookies enabled, drop us an email at [email protected].

Re: Server move!
Is there something wrong with the server? I mean it's 2.30 am now in Germany and the server is super slow. Yesterday it wasn't able to get on the side because some error 500 occured for about 2 hours. It happen'd several times now that I tried to visit the side at night but I wasn't able because of server errors.

I'm hoping to fix these issues, but there is no easy, immediate solution that I can see, so it'll likely be a process of tweaking and optimizing.
