Don't you think its possible that if the guy has a fucking sex addiction he is struggling with coming back to this site? He tries to stay away from porn and then his addiction says "Its alright, you can go back and do a tease or two, write a tease or two, and then leave" and then he ends up staying, and it disappoints him more and more, until the point he realizes he has to leave again..

And maybe he takes the teases down for privacy reasons?

I agree with Indigo, this emo crap with taking down teases has to stop. You made a contribution to the community, while you may have an addiction why ruin everyone's good time? The debates about it being your intellectual property are all fine and good, but I'm not inclined to bother reading your webteases anymore either. Why bother liking something that someone is going Indian give anyway? Just don't accept it in the first place.

I'm with Indigo and angusobrian on this one. It seems you've already made up your mind with the fate of the tease. I don't see why'd you even post a feedback topic for it, save for attention, seeing as you've already decided that you're going to take it down anyways.

I'm conflicted, because while I try to be nice and give people the benefit of the doubt (I probably give some people too many chances), Angusbrian, Indigo and Evals all have valid points imho. Submatt, when you were a regular member of the community and when you returned for a while and brought your teases back, your teases were among my favorites. While posting a tease and then taking it down may be the ultimate tease or create a sort of thrill for you, I wish you would at least explain to us why you are posting a tease, why you must take it down, and anything else that might help us understand your position better. Please reply whether in my inbox or in the forum.

You're nicer than I am Quaz... I'd rather just see Seph change the TOS of the site to have anyone who posts a tease retain intellectual rights to it, but when posting it gives up the right to remove it from the site. Only an admin should be allowed to remove a tease, not the creator or the tease. It is a contribution and should stay that way for better or for worse.

We agree on one thing Sub-Routine, I could care less about your opinion too. The fact of the matter is, the yo-yo crap submatt pulls is overly dramatic and annoying. If you agree with him that's fine, but it doesn't really matter. You put content up here, it should stay... otherwise don't bother.

Why do I take my teases down when I leave?

Well, I'm an addict. And I'm more like a binge drinker with pornography. I'll suck up a whole bunch over the course of a few days or more, then feel bad enough to stop for a while. And when I'm done, I usually feel regret over my poor choices.

One of those choices is to provide webteases to others. Which I see as ultimately hurtful. I realize some of you believe you are more hurt by having something you enjoy taken away. But from my perspective, I'm causing harm to people by providing it. Now, I know there's plenty of other stuff out there, and people are responsible for their own actions, and so on. But once I've sobered up, it makes me feel icky to think that I'm part of the problem.

So there you have it. I'm not trying to mess with people and I'm certainly not a drama queen. It's just my own process. Think what you will.

I am gonna have to side with Submatt on this one. I feel as if I go through the same thinking processes as he does ... and though it may be a bit hypocritical I can see where he is coming from.

And heck, if you look at it through the lenses of what this website is all about ..... "Tease and Denial" .... what's a better tease and denial tease than to see that tease come and go?? If your Mistress or Dom or whatever (whether it be real or virtual) told you that you are not to do a certain tease(s) .... would you be putting up the same fuss as you are here with Submatt's choice to temporarily pulling his teeases? (he is after all the virtual Mistress in this case, right?)

This community is awesome and what a great place to play in .... but just like everything else, moderation and balance are important. I will be supporting Submatt's choices as he goes through the process of getting his priorities in line.
