copyright laws

I'm assuming that since there are already direct links to the picks on kates playground on the forums it would be ok to use them in a tease that I make, but what other pics would be ok to use? Can I use pics from any website that doesn't give me a copyright warning? I don't want to break any laws or piss anybody off.

Practically any picture that you find in so-called TGPs or other promotional material is licenced so we can easily acquire the right to display it. Definitely stay away from material that is only available from closed membership! Otherwise, just use common sense. If you happen to post one copyrighted picture it's not the end of the world, we'll remove it on request by the copyright holder, just don't do it on purpose!
