Video embed

Hi from Italy,
many new webteases are using video to be opened in a new window.
It should not be to difficult to just embed the video in the webtease page (something like we are doing now for pictures).

The syntax is something like this (most of the video-sharing websites just give the embed code to simply copy and past):

good suggestion,
I also wish I could link video in the webtease
especially flashteases. I do not think it is currently possible to code a link
into a regular tease or flashtease but it is definetly somehtin That would be nice.
I wish that the link would open as a new window/tab so that the original tease page would not be lost
then one could simply close the tab/window to rturn to the tease.

The most linked site currently is YouPorn, they don't support embedding as far as I'm aware, neither do most adult tube sites. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)

One big reason we don't allow HTML code in teases is because that would allow hackers to use cross-site scripting to steal user's login credentials and compromise their accounts. It's easy to add these kinds of features, but with tens of thousands of visitors we have to be careful to make them very, very secure at the same time.

We are working on FT2 which is the successor system for the FlashTeases. It will probably allow some form of embedded videos although there are still some open legal issues to consider.

It is quite possible that we will start to allow links soon. At least for a test period. The problem with links is that they attract spammers like shit attracts flies. We will add nofollow attributes and make it so the link text can only be the URL, not a custom tag. Hopefully that will discourage spammers.

Thanks for your suggestions, as always, they are most appreciated. We are very sorry when we can't implement everything that is suggested, but we do try to keep the train moving forward, so everything gets implemented eventually.
