Motion to Funscript. Help? Hints?

Post by markus »

Hi all!

I am new to funscripts, just got myself a 'The Handy' and I am quite excited about it.
I've got a few videos and scripts from faptap, tested them with the amazing 'ScriptPlayer'.

And now I am curious and want to create some funscripts for some of my videos, and a few questions come to my mind.
Since I saw quite often funscripts are getting posted in here, I just thought you people in here might have some hints for me about the creation of funscripts.

So, first I'd be interested how you create them?
- What software/editor do you use?
- How the scripts getting created (manually / partly manually / based on the audio track)?
- As someone who is absolutely new to funscripts, where to start? (Wiki's / Tutorials / whatever else ...)?

And secondly, like in the thread-topic mentioned, ... my goal would be to somehow 'translate' the motion in a video into a funscript.
Let's just take something obvious, a handjob video, so the hand of the girl would be what we want to detect.
The resulting funscript should not only be up and down, but also take care of positions (aka stroking only the shaft, only the head and such).

- So, do we have already software which could do the motion detection?
- Maybe some software which could 'translate' the detected motion to funscript?

I have 2 ideas myself, but I didn't even started to test if that way a good or even any result at all comes out at the end, ... and of course I don't want to invent the wheel anew.
My ideas would be to go either with some sort of webcam motion detection (just with a video instead of the webcam picture) ... there are these corner-time-apps which work like that I think, ... or another software I once used for creating a censor video is called sensarea which can also detect motion, but I am not sure if that detection would be good/accurate enough for this task.

Ideas? Thoughts? Brainstorming? Hints? ... Any kind of input on that matter would be very much appreciated!

Best greetings,
Markus

Hi Markus!

I use OpenFunscripter: https://github.com/OpenFunscripter/OFS

I recommend these resources to get you started (need to have account and log in to eroscripts, but unfortunately these are best tutorials I know):
https://discuss.eroscripts.com/t/how-to ... rial/16637
https://discuss.eroscripts.com/t/how-to ... pting/2234

I also use this extension to alter funscripts with functions that make music-synced stroking much more fun (you can add waves on top of whole strokes, so short stroke each second that moves from top to bottom and back over 10 seconds etc)

https://discuss.eroscripts.com/t/my-too ... pter/61434

For creating music-synced scripts you can change "script overlay" from "frames" to tempo, you do have to type in bpm of the music and adjust slider below to match the beats but then it becomes easy to create patterns for that song and just copy-paste them.

I think all your questions will be answered with this but I expect you might have many more when you are back :)

A million thanks, this is awesome! :w00t:

OpenFunscripter has everything I was looking for and even more.
Probably the best software I ever saw, ... perfectly intuitive to use, perfectly customizable, ... the author should be decorated with prizes for this masterpiece, I saw a lot of 'professional' software whos authors could learn a thing or two from this!
And on top of that it seems to be able to deal with VR videos very well also, ... VR-headset was planned anyway for the next month, ... riiiiight on time it seems!

Also your tutorial-recommendations are great, if only all what is called 'tutorial' out there would be that much accurate and on point.

Just btw.: No account needed on eroscript.

For now I'll stick to non-music stuff, but also thx for those hints, who knows where this leads me.

I think all your questions will be answered with this but I expect you might have many more when you are back :)
I'll keep this in mind for sure, ... but for now I guess the tutorials gave me enough to keep me busy for quite a while. ;-)

THX again!
Best greetings,

Cool, I did not realize some articles are available without account, most of the posts that are content that is shared there are not though.

Only scripts, script collections, and script requests need to be logged in to view. Everything else is open. I think it's mostly to keep search engines from pointing to the site when people search for specific porn or stars using search engines.

Hi All,

NOT mine!

In another Community I recently stumbled across this:
https://github.com/astoniab/restimulator

It's from astonia and here is the description from the creator:
I have an initial version of my software that tracks body keypoints (head/hands/hips/feet) and controls the movement in restim. I call it restimulator.

Here's a short example video. https://sendvid.com/bqxvb6xb

Maybe this is what you are searching for?

Hi MatzeM!

THX for the input. :-)
Definitely interesting since I really got curious about every kind of motion tracking which could open up possibilities for new features in my project (Tai-A, sig).
But for now my goal is about to sync movements in a video with the toy "The Handy", getting the best possible results with that (aka girl gives a handjob in a video -> toy simulates her moving hand), from skimming your link it seems more about EStim which is nothing for me personally.

The tutorial mentioned by edger477 already show the usage of a motion tracker which gets included in OpenFunscripter, it works quite well already, a huge advantage of it is the integration in OpenFunscripter, so with just a few clicks you have its results 'converted' into the script, placed where it should be and so on.
It's not perfect, but I guess motion tracking isn't an easy task in general, especially when there is not much contrast in the scene (like the hand of the girl has mostly the same skin-color as the guy's body), ... I really don't know if there are better motion-trackers for that job out there, but I've tested the motion-tracking from that monster of an Ueber-Super-Software DaVinci Resolve and the result was disappointing compared to what this OpenFunscripter-AddOn is able to deliver.

I guess I still have a lot of work and learning ahead since the first results are not so well, it seems the toy has a bit of a delay (some stuff looks amazingly-In-Sync in the simulator but the real movements are a bit off) and I have to figure out how to handle high-speed scenes where the toy simply reaches it's speed-limit.

But I guess I am not the only one having these problems, ... while I was over there at eroscripts I've downloaded and tested a few scripts and they seem to have the same problems, ... probably to sync motion is a big challange, ... well, practice makes perfect as they say. :-)

Best greetings,
Markus

I did not check that tracker out since I am not really interested in autosyncing videos, my area of interest is more in creating a particular experience for videos of which these tiktoks are not really part. But estim (especially like this year) is all created from funscript that represents the stroking motion, and can be fed either to haptic device (like Handy), or to a tool like restim which converts it to estim.

But the "tracker" that is included in OFS, I did not actually see/use that, I will have to check it out :)
