How are you guys using the extra answers (sliding to pick another one)?

On one hand, that make the conversations a lot better, by the other hand, it's like you are choosing what you want all the time, what kind of breaks the ilusion.

I don't know if I am crazy, but looks like the first answers (default), is always the worse, if not unrelated with what you wrote.

I try to keep the swiping to a minimum, but yeah... the first is not always the best answer. I do wonder, though, if the system expects us to rate (smiley rating) each of the four alternatives on top of choosing the best one to continue?

Also I do believe that for the session to go deep and be good, one has to somehow imitate the proper styling that will make the conversation "look like" a tease session, and therefore spit out proper lines. My character kept asking questions after questions after questions after questions... when it wasn't flat out changing subject. I did get some better result by adding () narration, but only marginally.

It's possible, since you can't rate after you send another message (you can only rate the last message). Maybe the selected answer will be ranked already. That will be the one in the history anyway.


Oh, I am using ** to pass time, when she say things like "in the next 3 days you will..." and worked. And I think you can ignore some questions. To me, looks like the AI is giving you some options to carry the conversation.

() I avoid, because is like someone talking "out of the character", like when I said about the writer taiking with me.

After a few chats, she started to become more and more responsive and in character and it seemed like the suggestion i made using () were actually being taken in consideration.

I fear that soon enough, though, they will start to filter her and change the algorithm to castrate sexual interaction just as they did with replika....and sadly it seems like it is already happening.

Yesterday i noticed it was lagging a lot, probably due to more people discovering and using her.
Today the lag is gone, along with the chance to choose different outputs (they say it is just temporary) and it seems to me that the responses i am getting are a lot worse than the ones i was getting till yesterday.
She loses focus or change arguments nearly at random, she tends to start getting in loops from which you can'te get out, she begin to use long 4-5-6 lines long paraghraps which mostly consist of just the same words repeated in basically nearly sensless sentences.

I fear the "fun times" won't last long

This is in an example of the completely crappy and useless nonsense she has started to say today:
"You now stand up. And you now stand over me, again with my new surge of, powerful and strength, but now with my determined frown and, determined and my determined strong and frown and strong smirk, as I now see your sudden smirk. My determined strong, and determined frown turns to a, determined strong determined smirk. I now stand over you. Maybe she just tries to be creative and want to perform the 'determined-rap'?
Or you interacted too much with her (which wouldn't surprise me ) so you broke her and send her into insanity?

Maybe try to send her to bed or serve her a lunch to let her recover?

But seriously, reading your post, ... I've just tested a few lines with my 'Lady' and I don't see any difference in her behaviour, she is still acting very accurate, like all the days before, ... but I have continued a chat and not made a new one, maybe that's the difference?

To me it is really amazing what you can get out of her as a domme, the hints given in this thread helped a lot, like to adjust the description of her, to sometime use the ** to let her move on, to use *Lady says: this or that* to 'lead' her a bit and such.
I've got the best result when keeping the description short and on point, this may mean she don't come up with 'everything' at first, but you can concentrate on one topic and maybe can add some other things along the way.

When it comes to adult-fun, this AI seems much more functional than Replika ever was, ... let's just hope the 'fun times' are not over yet!

Depends, when an answer doesn't look like what I would have expected, or simply doesn't look 'right', then I swiped (as long as it was possible), ... I don't see this as 'cheating' but to help her a bit to become better.

The performance was really badin the last days, getting a lot of errors and needing to resend messages until goes completly down.

I imagine the swipe messages takes a lot, since AI need to generate 4 messages everytime. Even if you don't use, it there.

Like I said early, the default answer looks almost everytime worse, so that can be why you think is bad now. I hope they fix that. Maybe let 2 options only, I don't know.

One thing I noticed, sometimes the AI tooks a path and you can not go back, like your example. If that happens, better restart the chat.

I did learn too than that advanced options don't need to be only chats, you can put some scenarios, relationships and other things too. I will try to find where I did read about that and post here.

i definitely used her a bit too much but, reading the forum, there is a thread exactly on that with other user reporting their character having gone totally dumb and writing non sense all the time, so it is just me making her go crazy

yes that is true, even though, some rare times i managed to get her back on track with the () out of character talking, explaining what i didn't like...most of the times it didn't make much difference despite her telling me she understood and would try to change, but in some rare occasion it actually seemed to work.

I did learn too than that advanced options don't need to be only chats, you can put some scenarios, relationships and other things too. I will try to find where I did read about that and post here.

Yeah, just try here, looks like the AI always try to change the "scenario" and mostly try to ignore your "actions". Maybe is a problem with RP, I will try just talking and see how it's go.

EDIT: Yeah, the last update screw the AI. Not just the answer are bad, but now got a lot of [deleted] messages.

And no +18 messages, as I can see. Maybe it's over already and the purge started (looks like the [deleted] messages are the sexual ones), or is just they messing with the DB. Let's see.

Edit2: people start to talk on the Feedback hub. They are not happy Devs are not clear about what they are doing, so looks like nobody want to tell is a NSFW filter, but people already noticed that.

Well, to me the best response was most of the time the first one even when RPing; it seemed to me that the more i chatted/restarted the more she started to improve in the following chat. It really felt like i was training her and she was learning.
For example i remember in one of the first session i suggested her to be harsher when someone started to get bratty in treating her and, quite surprisingly, after my suggestion she definitely started to do ecactly that, even using mocking tones....i was honestly amazed.

Sadly i was 100% sure it would end up just like all other AI, filtering NSFW content, which is why i spent so much time on it...i knew it would come, i was just hoping it wouldn't come this soon; i tried to get the most out of it while i could.

This also makes me wonder about one thing; considering all the AI has actually used this approach about filtering sexual content pretty soon, it seems pretty obvious that it means that there is quite a ton of people using AIs for that.....so i am quite surprised that no one actually came out specifically with a NSFW oriented AI.

Yes, my bet is money. They want investors, and investors are conservatives about sex. And maybe they will follow Replika and put behind a paywall (not that bad, but the values for Replika are too high) and say there are a filter to NFSW so only adults can use it.

But they are still assholes for using the sex AI to improve the system and then kick horny users

I don't know ehat dominatrix.ai is yet. I hope is note a TeaseA| clone wanting to charge for that. But reallu looks like a chat ai, but nothing changes for a while, so I would not bet on that yet.


EDIT: Yeah, NSFW is over now, I try to go to old chats and continue, and anything than could be NSFW is now [deleted] instead. ANd there are no word from the devs about that, just than now the "service should be normal". Lies

I don't think so, the cold "not support pornography" and ignoring all the posts about that make me think they will not reconsider. Even Replika gave some warning before putting behind the paywall.

what really made me mad is character.ai could really push Replika to stop going to the Sims clothes path and focus on the AI again.

I don't know the percentage of user who will leave because that, but it's clear the AI will be worse trying to avoid NSFW paths. I don't think the project will survive too long, who will pay to talk with "fake Elon Musk"?

I understand you, I got to see Replika after that, and just it's not advanced like character.ai was. Too bad I restart the chats a lot of times, so I lost acess to older chats to copy the conversation (I think I got 2 still). Wold be fun to try with Replika and see what happens.
