Definitely enjoying the game. One of my top favorites in all Milovana. I can only imagine how much time and effort you have put into development - wow. Thanks very much. And "only" version .920!! Not only great play but the story is engaging and fun too. I'm currently enjoying the casino. Really great. It could be a stand alone game all on it's own - as could many of the other sections. Did I miss it or will there be there some way to come back and play at the casino whenever I want? (I hope so) In fact I hope there is or will be a way to revisit all of the various scenes in the game. I appreciate the auto save - nice and thoughful addition that has 'saved' me several times ( I have had the game lock up quite a few times - possibly to do with my computer settings or possibly the game?)

There's just sooo much in the game. I think I often forget or maybe even never learned to use many of the extra bits like in the various menus. As has been mentioned by others, things like the photo viewer are a bit clunky but I'm not sure it matters much -as the viewing of them doesn't seem too high a priority.

I, for one, really like the battle system. I like how it allows me to choose from random offers to play it safe if I want or to go more all out and play at sometimes much more difficult levels. I also like that there are ways (Hailey, phone) to influence what's offered if desired. So far I find the levels very challenging but doable. Very much keeps me going and excited throughout. I agree the counting can sometimes be awkward but not so bad and understandable that it is what it is. And at times it gets a bit of seemingly excessive input clicks especially when the girls are along for the party though I can't think of a way that could be improved.

I enjoy your choices of model pics, but then I'm never too picky. More non-vanilla? Sure that'd be great too. Hardcore? Kink? Sure, whatever works.

Your future plans for kinks sound great -I'm eagerly awaiting. Adding them into battle scenes sounds fine, though any added elsewhere would be great too. I'm not a huge fan of pain or cross dressing but great that you're thinking of including as much as you are for everyone. I hope with things like cock/ball bondage and such that you're able to put in a bit of directions rather than just a simple 'tie them up.'

I'm also looking forward to your planned specific stroking instructions. Great ideas.

Really you're doing a stellar job producing a tremendously addictive and fun game. I'm sorry if my comments aren't terribly specific on suggestions, but I've really just enjoyed it all. Looking back on your updates and tweaks, while each certainly improved the game, I was enjoying so much I hadn't even noticed their need. The only negative that comes to mind is the size of the updates and difficulty downloading them on mega with a free account - which with the game as great as it is is worth that small hassle. Thanks so much for all you've put into it so far.

I found the castle part more difficult, it was difficult to me to understand how the mirror works.
I found a bug in version 0.919 and I found the way to fix it in game.
It was because I played with the stopwatch, I picked the maximum agility and the fastest assist pace.
The bug occured when Sarah begins the edge part of the training during Hailey’s Note’s Quest.
Right now, I am finishing the castle part. I will look eagerly for the next releases :)

Wow, ok, so the bug happens in any battle if you have agility +++? But in normal battles you can star over?
The bug happens during the encounter (meaning during the "battle" part)?
not in every battle but always at the same encounter it happens right at the beginning sometimes after the the beat and task are choosen from the encounter sometimes there not even choose them abd than it never gets to my turn where i can choose if i do 1 task or all but the timer is still running

i just played the first few days of NG+ and didnt had the feeling the the encounter got harder or anything else changed in the game other than that im way stronger an have all the good stuff at the start are there any changes to the normal geme or is it still in development at these part? im just curious:P

Yes, New game+ does not up the difficulty, it only allows you to carry over items and progress from the previous game. this was kind of a last minute addition I put in, for replay value, so people could take advantage of things like Clothing and late game finds, so they can use them form a new start and take more advantage of their benefits. Especially since there was so many items like Whole Cloak, and all the clothing you can make in the very late game optional quests.

first of all: This is a great game and I can't begin to imagine how much work it took to make this! :thankyou:

FYI, I use version 0.920 for Windows.

In-game problems

I haven't finished the game, yet, but I already found a bunch of typos and a few missing words and commas in the characters' texts. IIRC, RPG Maker doesn't save all the text in one file, does it? (it's been over a decade since I last used RPG Maker as a creator)
The thing that turns me off the most (which isn't directly related to sex) is language errors. So I would like to offer my services as a proof-reader, if you're interested. If RPGM's file format allows this (in a managable fashion) I would read the texts, fix all the errors, that I find, and send the files back to you.

According to the empty list of search results here in the forum, no-one has reported this bug, yet:
If I try to configure the mansion game (in this case from the title menu), I get an error message

Thanks to Avatarbr for finding the workaround for this.

The workaround:
If you are using 7-zip, select these files and press F5 (copy to: on right click mouse), and select the same path folder on your install location

That way will preserve the space before the name file.
It's possible the error might be any of the 4 files shown above.

If you have the most current patch, and you see an error, please let me know. I have been fixing these problems so the workaround won't be necessary in the future.
I don't know, if this workaround actually works, but even if it does, it obviously requires the user to still have the zip file somewhere or to re-download the whole thing, which might take quite long, especially with < 6 GB RAM, because Firefox (and maybe other browsers) save the whole 5.XY GB in RAM and then need the same amount again for the decryption or whatever!

FIX

So I took the liberty of writing a small batch script that fixes the issue without requiring the zip file.
(I had to zip the script, because you can't even upload *.txt files in this forum)
  1. download the script and extract it to your Dreamscape installation folder (the one containing Game.exe)
  2. right-click on the script and select "edit"
  3. in line 2, replace the value of the variable with the path to the directory where the file is located, that you want to fix (the default value is set to the one, that gave me trouble). Make sure you leave the quotes where they are.
  4. in line 3, replace the value of the variable with the name of the file, that you want to fix.
  5. save your changes and run the script by double-clicking it.
I hope that helps everybody, until all the errors have been fixed on your end.


I found another bug related to Destiny's skills:

at some point in the game (somewhen after defeating Anita for the first time) the game told me, that Destiny can now do "True Sight" and "Libra" without wearing the white outfit.
But she could only do "True Sight". "Libra" was not listed as a skill. It only became available again when she learned more skills (by freeing the 3 girls in the casino).
Also: "Make transparent" doesn't seem to work for me. I didn't count the steps, but there is no way I already passed 100 when I got in a new battle. I tried that several times and it failed.
1 step is "move 1 sqaure in any direction", right?
It would help to have an indicator somewhere, which tells the player, whether the skill is still active.

I also found a small bug in Anita's main quest

some of the items/points on the to-do list for this quest didn't get marked as done. For example, after picking up the "statue note" the quest description still listed "soldier has a message" as an open point in the to-do list.
Because of how many entries this list has, that got a little confusing.


As a small improvement I would suggest, that the "Total Ruin Orb" doesn't get auto-equipped when you select "equip" > "optimize", because of it's side effect. I had the other 2 orbs in my posession as well, and the Ruin orb was the one the game picked :(

I'm also kinda missing a pause button, that stops all sounds and the internal play time timer. Just a thought. Or did I miss it?

it would also be nice to have a "previous" button in the image viewer. At least when it is not set to random mode.


It's a good thing, you posted the walkthrough! Maybe it's just me, but because there are many places in the game, where the party can't enter water, I got stuck in the castle when it was time to pick up the necklace, because I didn't even try entering the water. Just so you know.


I found even more bugs, but they were too small to remember. The only thing, that I still recall, is that the metronome keeps playing after activating the piano @ the school and selecting "keep off". I had to leave the room for the sound to go away, iirc.


technical stuff
Despite having downloaded the windows version, there is a folder called "macOS-M1 (RPG Maker MV)" inside the www folder, which has a total size of almost 1 GB! Do Windows users really need that?

Also: including the folder mentioned above, a recursive search in the www folder revealed a total of 6 copies of a file called "electron framework". Each copy is 251MB in size, which suggests that they are completely identical. If they are, I would appreciate it, if future versions of the game all point to the same path, so we only need one copy!
I noticed this while defragging my drive.

I’m not sure where the text might be saved.
I do work on a Mac, which might explain the Mac folder you’re seeing in the contents.
At this point I’m a bit worried to remove stuff since last time I tried to optimize the game, it removed a bunch of needed files.

I will try to investigate if there’s a text file location for all the text in the game.

For Destiny’s Skills, I do remember changing around when some characters level up and level their classes up too.
I added Libra at the moment you speak of, so she should get it now.
One thing about Make Transparent, it only applies to standard Random encounters, and not Wisp encounters. Wisp encounters are fixed locations.
They don’t move around, but if you run into them, you will get the encounter, regardless of your encounter rate.
If you wear the Fairy or Fancy glasses, you can see them. I’m not saying you’re wrong, since I just added those skills, and didn’t test them too much.
But it’s possible that’s what happened.

Yeah, Anita’s quest progression can be done out of order, and some of it is not necessary, but I can make it so it checks off previous items if they’re irrelevant at that point.

The optimize is a thing that came baked into rpgmaker. I don’t know how much control I have on it’s choices, but I agree, I would prefer it doesn’t use the Ruin Orb,
I might just remove the side effect, where you can’t remove the orb or it’s effect easily.

I don’t think there’s a pause button… You can go to the menu? That should pause timers, but I don’t think it will stop music.

I can add a previous button to the image viewer.

Yeah, Like I said earlier, I work on a Mac, so I’m not sure how it published the game, and why it has these folders which seem like they’re extra.
In addition, another problem with using Mac stuff is there’s often less documentation on problems and fixes, so it’s harder to troubleshoot Mac specific problems.

But I’ll see if I can find out something with regards to the extra files.

Well, if you don't find a way to remove it via RPG Maker, maybe all you have to do is to not include it in the zip file? If it isn't needed, leaving it away shouldn't be a problem. Do you have a windows machine available for testing? I'll rename that folder on my machine and keep playing. If there are no "missing file" errors, you can simply ignore it when zipping the game.

That sounds about right. I didn't have the glasses, yet, when I noticed this. I came back to the location in question (with the glasses equipped) and it turns out, there are a few Wisps there.
However, I already encountered a Wisp in a random encounter at least once. Is that intentional? (i hope so, because that means there's more variety to who you see as an enemy :-D )

Edit: actually, there is a problem. I activated "make transparent" right after leaving Anita's castle through the front door and got into a random encounter while climbing the rope on the right (I was heading for the waterway).

That would be good. But I wasn't talking about stuff I skipped (I honestly didn't even realize I could), I was talking about stuff that I had already done being still marked as "open".

Oh, didn't realize that "optimize" was "baked in" (as I said, it's been long since I used RPG Maker). Well, removing the side effect is probably easier, but I wonder whether it's also better...

I suppose you mean the menu that shows up when you press ESC? Yeah, that doesn't stop the music. But given how much stuff you can do in that menu, I didn't expect it would pause the timer. Good to know.

I'm afraid I have to report another bug, though.
I haven't tested this with Destiny, yet, but it happens with Hailey.
When she uses her Special skill "Rest+ (TP) All", only she gets TP, the other party members don't.
The MP version of that skill works as intended, though.


I'm not sure, if this is another bug or if I just missed something.
What does it mean that "the Summoner will be in trance"? I thought this means she can't do anything...
In that case, why do I have to choose what she's supposed to do during my turn, when she's in trance?
I probably just got this wrong, since another skill clearly says "cannot act" in its description.
Could you kindly explain the difference to me?


Something else: When I'm at the casino, every table / slot machine has a menu, where you say how much you want to bet.
These menus also have "casino settings" and "casino brochure" in them.
If I open the brochure from there, I cannot look at the cheats list (the brochure menu disappears and that's it)
However, I can look at the cheats list via "ESC -> devices -> brochure" just fine.
Is that intentional?

After trying a few different things myself, I looked up the strategy in the walkthrough. But that didn't help.

I assume oats meant

The blue demon keeps healing herself and Ms. Betty / red demon remains on the field with 0 HP
It also doesn't matter, whether I (try to) defeat one of them first (and it doesn't matter which one) or whether I try to defeat them at the same time.

What am I missing?
I know some of you already finished the game. So there must be a way (aka no bug that prevents the victory).

The way to "beat" this team is to defeat Jena. But Blue Demon (Anita) keeps healing her, so first you have to Flash with Destiny so you can defeat Jena. If you got to the point where Jena has been defeated, and the battle isn't over, that's a bug, you should let me know. If Jena didn't appear in the battle in the first place, then I think you missed something before you got to the battle. You should go to a previous save and investigate some more. Did you find the white haired Maid (Betty) and talk to her in the lab room? She can be found in the rundown lab room (i.e. fall down where the walkable water is.) After you find her, she should be in the regular lab room? Let me know if she isn't there.

Hello oats,

it's me again.

I'm afraid, I have to report more bugs :(

1. Something's wrong with the "notes app". After handing over the cherries, the app reads "cherries: 0/12" and "turned in" for the
flowers, even though I haven't handed the flowers over, yet (cause I don't have enough of them).
The same thing happens for Octopus and Squid. After handing over the Octopus, it says "Squid: Turned in", even though I only have one of them, and "Octopus: 0/6"

In both cases the quest Log gets updated correctly. It's just the app, that does this non-sense.

2. The skill "Libra persistent" doesn't seem to be persistent. More often than not, the bar disappears after a tranformation.
And because those bars sometimes appear on thier own (after a transformation), I can't be sure, if they appeared because "Libra persistent" worked for once, or whether they would have appeared anyway.
Is the behaviour supposed to be different for Wisps and regular enemies? (not that I noticed a difference, I was just wondering, so that I know when to pay attention in the future)

3. After I had played for a while, I started a new game (without finishing the first playthrough) and saved it in a new slot.
When I got to the first tutorial, I decided to skip it.
Then I encountered my very first enemy in that playthrough. And it seemed to have infinite HP, because it just would not die!!
However, after killing the game and re-loading the same save (which put me right before the tutorial - which I skipped again), the bug did not occur again...
No clue what was going on there. So far this only happend once in the many, many encounters I had.
IMO, there's no need to investigate this at the moment. Just wanted to let you know.


I also noticed that some of the one-time-use key items didn't disappear from the inventory after they were used, for example Brianna's phone. Towards the end of the game my inventory got quite messy with all the leftover key items and the permanent items like books etc.
Something that would help with that is a "other" category. Because some items only show up when you select "items" (which should be labeled "all items", btw.). Searching for those can be a little confusing sometimes.


Last question for now: why are there so few places where you can SELL items?

Jena did not appear as an enemy. She's a member of my party, but there's only the blue demon (anita) and the red demon (betty). Should there be a third enemy during the second stage?
Since I cannot select the blue demon when choosing a target for my skills, I need to use Destiny's orgasm to Flash the blue demon.

Alright, I've looked into a bunch of the bugs you mentioned N3R0.
Much appreciated.
I did implement fixes for most of them.
In addition to a few other bug fixes from previous posts by others.
The new version (.921) will have these fixes applied:

•Agility+++ fixed
•Can not check Cheats while playing games in Casino
•Destiny Gets Libra when she should.
•Added Equipment Slot for Ball Tie
•Fixed Transparency and Translucency
•Removed Optimize from Equip Menu
•Removes Mansion Game Options (Mansion Game was a hidden game I was going to have included, but it got too big and I scrapped it for now. Maybe later.)
•Fixed Notes App Detection of Collectibles

Agility is now capped at 100. the error occurred because it was allowed to go beyond 100. Should still work as intended.

The Casino Cheat sheet will not appear if you are playing a game. You don't want to get caught cheating now...
Really, it would take me a long time to rewrite the casino games because of the image layering, and it's simpler to just not allow it, sorry.

Destiny should now learn Libra at end of first Anita Boss encounter.

The equipment menu now has a slot for the jelly Ball Tie

N3R0, you were right, the Transparency and Translucent skills were not applying correctly. They now work, and even show an icon if you have them applied. It also tells you when it runs out.

I removed Optimize from the equip menu. Doesn't really make sense int this game anyway. and it kept applying the Ruin orb which is the last equip you want auto applied.

The Mansion Game was a hidden game I was working on releasing bundled with this game, but it got too big and I had to postpone it. Maybe it will get made later and have a separate release. I removed the options so it doesn't cause any problems.

Notes app now correctly lists collected items.

The Libra Persists and the TP+ All skills will need some more work to look into. I will try to get these fixed soon.

As for the immortal first enemy, I have also seen the same thing, but only sometimes and only for the first enemy.
Not sure what’s causing it. Let me know if you see it happen any other times.


Also, N3R0, I believe If you speak with the white haired maid in the lab room, it should fix your problem with the final encounter.
Try it and let me know if it works now.

No need to apologize. It had already crossed my mind, that this might be intentional (that's why I asked that in my bug report). Even though it turned out to be a bug (up to this point), it makes perfect sense, that you wouldn't wanna get caught cheating.
So all's good.

Well, that's another way to fix that problem. That might make things a little more tedious for first-time players, though. Cause during my first playthrough I had trouble keeping track of what items I have and (more importantly) who can equip them.

But unless I missed something, a few of those categories in the equip menu are obsolete anyway. Cause I haven't seen any weapons, yet, for example.

I tried that. Got the same response from the maid as before. The only thing that changed is that...

...now I can only attack the blue demon. Before, I could only attack the red one directly.
(of course doing edges/holds would attack both in both cases)

Even though I blinded both of them, the blue one keeps healing herself. And there is no sign of Jena as an enemy
I have one more idea, what I can try. But I'll need an old save to do that. And I only have one other save, where I'm currenly in the process of freeing my first team member. So it's gonna take a while for me to get to the end.
But I have the day off tomorrow, so hopefully I can make some progress...
I'll report my findings as soon as possible.

I downloaded v0.921 (to prevent reporting bugs that you already fixed) and started a new game (to prevent bugs that might occur only because I used a savegame from an older version).

and we went to see her friend.

But instead of receiving the quest to free the 3 casino girls, she just said something like "I hope your previous quest was a success" and gave me access to the

Which means, I'm stuck... :axe:
Cause even if I can continue for now, I will eventually need the skills, that I would have learned by fulfilling that quest.
Edit: I should point out that I tried accessing the rooms of those 3 girls after this happended, but I got "access denied".

I don't know how much of this is connected and how much might be individual bugs. I made the mistake of always overwriting my only save, so it's almost impossible to figure out what went wrong. Sorry.

Small bugs

I encountered the immortal enemy again.
Like last time, I had chosen to skip the tutorial. This time, there were 2 enemies in my first encounter, but only 1 was immortal. Go figure...


After you free Hailey and Destiny (in there respective towns), they ask you to

Btw, why does a ruined orgasm sometimes cost 25 HP and sometimes none?

At the theater club, if Marcia's first outfit is the red one and she is given a second chance, there are 2 pictures of the red outfit first, before it switches to the blue one.

Also at the theater club: during the first audition, Ms. Jayden will tell me that I will be stroking for this one, right before she asks we which option I want. This happens for all 3 girls.

At the casino, paying back your entire debt works. Paying back an individual amount does not work. After entering the desired amount there is a second number input (this time with one more digit) and no matter where I enter which number, nothing about my debt changes.


I haven't watched the other 2, yet, but I found it a little irritating to see the slideshow timer during Mia's performance @ the casino.


In the status menu "Mansion game stats" appears twice. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind that it's there at all, even though the mini game is not available, yet. But twice...

One more from my last playthrough: There is a girl at the north-west corner of the museum (forgot her name). After talking to her, the background music suddenly changed to the casino theme. Is that supposed to happen?


Last but not least, I decided to switch the walking speed to "fast" this time.
Unfortunately, the game decided to reset it to normal on quite a few occasions. (and there will probably be more, once I manage to proceed further in the game)

Good news
I also have something positive to report. Before starting this new playthrough, I renamed the www/mac... folder and there were no "file not found" issues because of it. So it seems Windows users really don't need that.
(I had already renamed it in version 0.920 before I got to the point where I am now in my 2nd playthrough)

If you can't find a way to make it disappear within RPGMaker, just exclude it while zipping the compiled game. That way we have to download a whole GB less. :yay:
