Okay, Evil Stepmommy is live. I suspect there are still some rough spots because it's a pretty big with over 1000 images and dozens of scenes.

I was inspired and helped a ton by Indyc and his Trails of the Succubi tease. I can only hope to be that good. Tonally though, it's closer to some of bennygrimm's work. It goes to some pretty dark places, and it's very much a femdom tease. While there are some specific calls to edge (and even a few possible releases), this is more about playing through the story than edging or using toys.

It's shorter than Trials of the Succubi, but wider, if that makes sense. More branching paths, which should make it fun for repeat play.

This is V1 and I'm planning a V2. You'll find a few places where there are placeholder choices that I hope to implement with V2. V2 will have many more endings, I think. But there are still 7-8 possible fates in this one.

Please do let me know if you find any issues, if parts move too fast or slow, if there are any dead ends left, etc. I think I fixed most of the problems, but as I said, there's a lot here so I'm sure I've missed some things. I just felt it was time to release this into the wild and see how it goes.

Sigh. I'm testing it live and there's already an issue in that I can't seem to click through dialogues even though they're labeled as skippable. Is anyone else encountering this? If so, please let me know. If you have a fix, even better!

Searching for "Skip" in the script returns only one instance of allwskip=true, so I guess they aren't actually labelled as skippable. You have to select the "allow skip" in the editor. One quick way to solve this would be to use notepad++ or any other text editor with support for regex to add the "allowskip":true to all say actions :-/

Just to make sure, if I fix things in the main file, they'll be fixed in the live file too, right?

Because I'm finding a lot of things to fix. This was supposed to be my learning tease afterall.

Lots of mistakes.

If anyone spots some, please do let me know. My goal is to get this clean then start on V2.
