This is such a cool game play idea! While I think there may still be some bugs to sort out its really fun.

I know this sounds weird but I got a different intro followed by the same 3 rounds I played the night before. Taunts were different. I figured that was weird so I stopped play to see if I could sort it out and was blocked by the "cooldown." I reinstalled the game so I play again soon but may get the same rounds on the first play through and I'll see if it repeats again on the second.

If that repeats again, I would like to see info about previous and current session in the console. If there are going to be same rounds in these two, it means something went wrong in my code.

For mac users on Chrome all you have to do to enter full screen is go to View >> Uncheck "Always show bookmarks bar" and uncheck "Always show tool bar in fullscreen." Then activate the green full screen button in the top left of chrome.

Another idea for patreon user would be to be able to deactivate the "cooldown." Just a thought.

The cooldown has been a topic of perpetual, sometimes even slightly heated debate on my discord server during the development.
At the end of the day, it's a design decision. The fundamental idea behind this game is to be replayed and enjoyed from time to time. Not consumed in one go.
Nothing wrong with long CH marathons. It's just not something this game will offer since it's not its goal.

I'm reluctant to reduce the cooldown even as a Patreon benefit.
If I would do it, it would probably be 2 sessions per day before cooldown (to preserve the idea behind the game) and it would be locked behind Tier 5 (to limit it for only very small portion of people who really, really want it).
But for some reason, I have a feeling that adding this to the game would make people even more unhappy than if it stays as it is now. Just a hunch... :D
But, I might be wrong. perhaps I'll create a poll and ask people whether they are OK with it in the future, since I personally am impartial on that.

Finally what is the function of the "rescan" button?

After the download is finished, CYOA needs to extract the chunks which might take a minute.
If waiting doesn't help, try to refresh the site.
If even that doesn't fix it, let us know. At that point, it's probably something @fagustree should look into.

How to give feedback on taunts:
Because of the random nature of the game, debuging and fixing taunts that doesn't sound right or show up when they shouldn't is difficult. You can help me a lot by doing this:
Press F12 - > Console - to explore session object, find tauntsArray and share the problematic taunt, its index and round in which it spawned.
You can do this for both current and previous session.

What i wanted as a player:
1. 40-45 mins sessions
2. Some kind of a "main characters" who who will taunt and maybe give a rewards sometimes
3. Maybe some of interactivity based on simple chose
4. Some edging parts

Yes! I was thinking the same, there is only one non-nude round so far in the game. I just need to find some good non-nude content. If you or anyone else has some tips and suggestions for video content for these rounds, share it with me.

1) Yes, I plan to add 40 minutes option eventually. I just need to create more rounds.
40 minutes sessions with combination of content selection mean I need at lease 90 minutes of both SC and HC content for the game to work properly.
I'm getting there, slowly but surely. :)

2) I thought that the host(s) kind of fulfill this role. Or do you mean something else? Do you mind explaining your idea more? I'm interested.

3) Again, I'm very interested in what you mean by simple choice. I would love to have some interactivity in these sessions and I'm open to new ideas.

4) Yes! I plan to add edging sections to rounds in my next version. I've been thinking about how the generator will work and what rules will be necesary.

I'm thinking about this general rules so far:
- edge sections can't spawn in the first round
- segment followning edge must be one of these: section with no beats/section with very slow beats/end of the round
- edge sections can't be shorter than 30s

I'll probably try to write up some code that will take care of that during this or next week.

Partly correct. The reason that most torrent software won't work (for either upload or download) with CYOA or other WebTorrent software is that most torrent software doesn't understand the WebRTC type of sending torrent data. That is close to being fixed in many cases, including QBittorrent, because the upstream software Libtorrent has recently added WebRTC.

The WebTorrent Desktop client was made for seeding such torrents in the interim.

Yes, at Friday my Patreon page has been removed/hidden and I've got an email from them. I've responded with an appeal. We will se what happens, so far no answer. My hopes are not high.

The good news is that the current patrons should be still logged in on CYOA and have access to the premium stuff. I'm not sure for how long it will last tho.


When it comes to CH Replay development, I'll just copy what I wrote on my Discord yesterday:

Ok, I've slept on it and went on a short walk today to think about the whole situation. I'm not going to lie, the Patreon ban is a huge hit to my future plans and ability to treat CH Replay development as a side/part-time job with the amount of time I've been investing to it. The good news is that to my surprise, I didn't have any strong emotional reaction to seeing my page removed yesterday and I'm feeling ok. Today I've realized that the reason is because the thing I care the most is still here - CH Replay. This project and its completion as I envisioned is what truly matters to me. Yes, the ban is a huge setback, but I'll try to appeal it, and if that doesn't work, which is likely, I'll have to come up with another way that will allow me to invest more time into work that I love and that feels meaningful to me. The money is not the goal in itself. It's a tool to buy time off of my irl job.
Thank you for your support and advices you've been giving me during this unpleasant situation.

Finally what is the function of the "rescan" button?

The rescan button allows you to re-check all the files in case they have become corrupted. The torrent keeps info on how big, each chunk should be, etc... if there is any corruption in the files after downloading, rescan will find it and re-download that part.

So my Patreon page has been terminated.
I've exchanged couple of emails with their Trust an safety team and they were surprisingly reasonable and helpful. The reason stated was that pornographic content with real people is against their terms of service. There was no mention of copyright.
At the end of the day,I was breaking their rules and I respect their decision. Hopefuly it will stay at that.

Me and fagustree will look into alternative ways of crowd sourcing. If you have any ideas let us know.

Patreon tier always says 0 now. It seems like it has been wiped from pledges and profiles as well, so doesn't look like the patreon unlocks will work anymore. Maybe consider a workaround for now?
