I'm running it in the Chrome browser and I'm having an issue with breaks / pauses in the video / audio, accompanied by excessive CPU usage, hovering around 100%, according to Windows Task Manager. When I stop or quit the game, the CPU usage drops significantly. I've tried restarting my computer, closing other apps, running the game offline; all to no avail. FYI - my Replay file folder is on a 1TB external drive, if that makes any difference.
Do you or anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on this? K
Problem solved: Did some Google searching and came across this article that had the solution to force hardware / graphics acceleration:
https://www.lifewire.com/hardware-accel ... %20browser.
To quote from the article:
What to Know
In Chrome, go to Chrome Menu > Settings > Advanced. Under System, enable Use hardware acceleration when available.
To force acceleration, enter chrome://flags in the search bar. Under Override software rendering list, set to Enabled, then select Relaunch.
You can check whether hardware acceleration is turned on in Chrome by typing chrome://gpu into the address bar at the top of the browser."
Thanks for suggesting that hardware / graphics acceleration was likely the problem. I hope this information helps someone else who's experiencing the same problem. K
