I'd love to get in on the testing for this as well. Sounds like an absolutely amazing project! So glad to see someone working on an e-stim project of this caliber.

Cool game! One suggestion, since you are only using one channel for estim. Can you setup the option to use the other for punishment. I.e. the left for tease the right for pain. This gives the user some flexibility on trode placement

@LAKE_DUCK_HUNTER I'm glad you enjoyed the game. If you feel like sharing, please consider a PM telling me a bit of your adventures as it helps me fine-tune the direction of the game. Things like what level you reached, player class, favorite quests and NPCs, if you found any legendary loot and so forth. While I can appreciate stim enthusiasts looking for dual channel or triphase signals or separate punishment channels, the decision to go with a simple mono setup was made early in the development cycle based on the majority view of many early testers. The thought was that with dozens of hours of gameplay and also the heavy design emphasis to encourage replay with a different class and choices, it was best to keep the electrode setup quick and easy. Allowing one to play a few hours here and there without too much fuss. While I hope people find the tight integration of the game lore and story with the estim to be a unique and immersive game mechanic, it still takes a backdrop to the main focus of an old-school RPG adult adventure. It would probably be a bit too much to make such an extensive change to the way estim works at this point. But please feel free to give additional suggestions and feedback, as it is all valuable info. Happy hunting for both ducks and Psyons LOL.

Update: I'm making steady progress towards the next big release, but this is going to be an extensive and complex update, so it will probably take a while (a few months, not a few weeks). So far I've gathered and edited over 1000 pics to bring the 3 guild combat companions to life. I've nearly completed Miley's redesign to a full NPC. (I'd like to slowly remake all the vendors.) I'm also giving her two new quests. One of those takes place in the brothel bathhouse. The quest has multiple ways to complete it, and each class has unique sexy scenes that can unfold. Additionally, I've been doing some work on the game engine to track player sin level. This is going to be used by the church inquisition and should be an interesting mechanic to manage. Things like disrespecting NPCs, trying to dominate them, and sexual encounters add to your sin points. The idea is that you can periodically turn yourself in for cleansing or wait to be hunted down and suffer the most painful consequences. You'll also be able to pay at the church shrine for absolution if you're a less masochistic player.

If people would like more frequent release updates, just let me know. I could chop this planned huge update into smaller bits, but while I'm messing with the main game engine, old saved-data will break. Thus I don't intend to update the game too often unless players really want me to.

Hi,
might have found a bug as the mage.
When fighting the Fire Mage and I cast my Mana shield, AFTER the timer for the cast is done, the volume is significantly higher(more than the highest punishment I would say) until another sound file from the combat interrupts it. And the Standard combat sound file gets loaded instead.
Only happens on the fire mage. (Might be if you cast ability right at the start, its level 2 shield).

Happend now also with the skaven commander.

Didnt happen on the regular enemies though.

@PossibleSpirit5998 OK. Thanks for the report. I'll look into it. Any additional info/testing you can do about when it does and does not happen will be of help.

Update: So this bug has been reported before. My testing shows it does not matter what the ability is or what Psyon you are fighting or what class you play. It is very intermittent. I'm only able to get it to happen about 1 in 20 tries or so when using the special ability. I've checked the code over and over again and I'm 99% sure it is an Eos bug, perhaps lag related when trying to stop the sound under certain conditions. I had tried one "hacky" fix before that apparently didn't solve the issue. However, I just had a new idea of how to get around this and pushed out a hot fix. In my testing, I haven't been able to get the bug to trigger since this new fix, but again, it is very intermittent so please let me know how it goes. Thanks.

Unrelated hot fix: I fixed an issue that could cause a punishment sound not to play during very rare situations if you had your top punishment volume near 100%.

Also, just to let people know, I'm working steadily on the next update, but it's a huge one with no ETA yet.

Amazing, i'll have a look tomorrow.

Edit: I assume only the last version is testable? For bug fix test, the previous version as comparison would be helpful. I could then try to could then find a save close to the bug, reproduce it couple times and then do the same in new version.
Especially if the bug doesn't happen everytime.

@Petka11: Hi! A blast from the past. I'm glad you are enjoying the lore. It has come quite a way since you've seen it last. What was that, about 2 years ago? I'm fairly sure that it is now the largest project on the Eos platform. It has sort of turned into the never ending project, but I'd say it is 30% complete now and the beta is only a few updates away. I really try to focus on the world building and a universe that feels dynamic with impactful player choices and replay value with class specific content. I'd love to hear about your latest adventures! Are you still running the E-Stim Hero site? How is that going? I really should make a blog there for LOTP. Anyway, hope all is well.

@Everyone: Progress continues on update V0.13.0, but a lot more work remains. Perhaps two months or so. I may end up splitting it up into two updates. I'm not sure yet. Thoughts?

Here is a list of things I've completed or nearly completed for the next update, just to keep you all posted:

* Engine upgrades:
- Sin system. This will be used by the upcoming church Inquisition content. Basically every naughty thing you do will add to your sin level. You can either tribute a shrine to absolve yourself of sin or risk forced redemption through horrible torture at the hands of the inquisition. I don't expect to have the Inquisition fully implemented for a while, but I have gathered a lot of the pics for this.
- Quest specific and class specific loot drops. The loot engine can now handle both. Class specific loot is not yet implemented, but one of the new quests uses the new quest specific loot drops.
- Companion combat. I have started to work on, but not yet completed, an expansion to the battle engine and AI systems to accommodate the upcoming companions for hire content. It builds off of the escort system that was implemented for Penelope in the well tunnels.

* Miley (magic shop) and Scarlet (potion shop) both upgraded to the new NPC type. These sisters now both feature many more pictures, richer personalities, variable dominance, multiple punishments and so forth. They will eventually be getting town scenes as well.

* Three new quests:
- Ectoplasm. A new quest from Miley that has a funny ending. Not too much to this one.
- A Steamy Search. Another new quest from Miley that has the player searching for a lost ring in the bathhouse. It features a secondary method of completion that varies for each player class and introduces a new NPC.
- Naughty Girls. The Queen sends you on a spy quest to see what her sexy daughters (princess Ishtar and Eresh) are up to in the residential district. This is the first futa content by popular request. You can choose between 3 different outcomes for the princesses that will impact future town scenes and your relationship with each. Additionally, there is a secret 4th option that allows you to stay on good terms with both of them. I'm finishing up work on this quest now.

* Miscellaneous:
- Slight reduction in power for the legendary Phoenix fire bow in the well tunnels. It was a bit too powerful, even for a legendary tier item.
- Improved and expanded artwork for the Angels & Demons minigame. I also increased the ball kicking punishment. She sometimes gets mad when she busts as well and makes you pay for it.

Many testers have been sending me tales of their adventures. It really helps to keep me motivated! It is also super valuable feedback to learn what content people find and what stuff I may need to drop more hints for (like the chamber hidden under Kendall's office). Hearing about your favorite content, requests for future content, and constructive criticism are all very welcome.

Please, please, please...I hope the next updates aren't save-breaking!

This is quite a game and I wish I had the time consistently to keep playing and exploring as much as I'd like. It's very well thought out and is itself a fun text RPG without the stim component.

I hope that as it continues to expand as infinitely as the universe does, that it'll be able to migrate off of Milovana should something happen - storage/size issues, site going down, and so that you could better monetize the work you've put in.

I do have to say - an ever-shifting and ever-growing RPG world is very appealing. In a way, I hope this never gets finished, and that it continues long enough that a new generation of game builders takes on this project in perpetuity.
