Hi, first post in this great site.
I love playing the estim teases but them alone weren´t doing much to me, so i decided to see if i could implement a vibrator to them, after reading a post here talking about processing and arduino, i gave it a shot. I used an arduino nano but it can be any microcontroller this is just what i had at hand, a relay and of course a vibrator or my case a knockoff magicwand.
The idea is, using processing and some libraries to detect when the computer is playing audio and send a command to the arduino via serial to open or close the relay which i attached to the button that turn on and off the magic wand, a little bit of soldering required. And i know this process could be done in a much simpler way maybe with python but i know very little about programming.
gonna need:
arduino
relay
arduino software https://www.arduino.cc/en/software
processing software (2 libraries) https://processing.org/download/
sound library https://processing.org/reference/librar ... index.html
serial library https://processing.org/reference/librar ... index.html
esc (to redirect the audio back to the estim) viewtopic.php?f=26&t=22365&hilit=esc
vb cable (to feed the audio to the processing script) https://vb-audio.com/Cable/
cables
drive with scripts: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing
[0] flash the arduino with the script i provided and change the pin to the one you prefer
[1] in order to use it, youll need to set the vbcable to send the audio from the computer to the digital link
[2] run processing with the libraries already downloaded, open and play the script (you should see either a 1 or 0 in the console if playing audio)
[3] open esc and configure it to pass the audio form the digital vbcable link to the output where you have your estim connected
IMPORTANT YOU SHOULD HAVE YOUR ADUINO IN SERIAL COM PORT 1 "COM1" OTHERWISE THIS WONT WORK
[4] now you can play the teases and the vibrator should turn on and off automatically when estim signal are playing
pictures of the setup:
and special thanks to @boundupone @Batman314 @lolol2 and @Tintin119 for creating such amazing teases
Control a vibrator when playing estim teases
Re: Control a vibrator when playing estim teases
This is a very nice and well detailed first post. Even though I don't have a desire to use a vibrator while stimming and never got a response from Batman314 on what libraries/DLLs, or dependencies are needed to get ESC working on Windows 7(I get an error that I put in the ESC thread that doesn't tell me much), I might find other uses for this type of audio to relay control.
Thank you for your contribution. Great work!

Hi, i will recommend you to update: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hel ... -downloads, https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-framework, https://www.oracle.com/java/technologie ... loads.html and https://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm, maybe some of that can help you solve the problemElectro wrote: ↑Tue Dec 01, 2020 5:03 am This is a very nice and well detailed first post.
