Thx for the interest, but sadly no. Real Life got me hard... Sometimes I'm still looking at my old project folders and miss the work on my idea. There are so many great inspirational artworks out there...

But sadly, I don't know if or when I could become active again! I don't see any chance in the near future. So, if anybody wants to take over, feel free! Sorry for becoming inactive and having to abandon the project.

Yeah... One reason of why I never finished it, is, that the concept was to big and ambitious. I got lost in designing the countless interacting gameplay systems, having to write all the needed "flavour" text, randomizing everything and still make it appear as a working "story" with natural dialogue which is everytime different as is the gameplay itself. Of course it's technically possible with GuideMe, but not for me and not in my time budget.

I can't help to still think about how to reduce the complexity but keeping the core experience intact. After reading about the Pornstar Tournament 3 here on milovana, I had an idea for this revised game concept for "My Succubus":

Start a "New Game" and play the story prologue where you meet "your" Succubus (which could be your favorite pornstar, you just need a few sets of pictures for her and dump them into a specific subfolder). You give her a name and make a contract with her. You can also name your character and learn a bit about the world. You promise to feed only your Succubus with your sexual energy. She will grant you one session per day. No edging, ruining or cumming outside these sessions. In return she will allow you to have "fun" in a dream world called "Realm Of Sinful Pleasures". Because its a dream world it doesn't have to make logical sense (no map, no geography, no villages...).

After the story prologue (or after loading your existing save) you start your session which consists of 4 steps:

1. Summon your Succubus and feed her your first edge: This "WarmUp" allows you to enjoy the sight of your succubus for a bit (random pictures from a randomly chosen picture set). No fancy instructions, no guided stroking, no specific tasks, no specific story. Just free stroking ("Gentlemen's Agreement": try to stroke at least at 1-2 bpm or faster and don't stop unless told to do so). You can also skip or pause on pictures as you like. You could even watch a video with your Succubus if its a pornstar that has scenes on Pornhub or something similar instead of using the pictures. Only goal for you here is, to reach your first edge. This triggers the transition into the dream world "Realm Of Sinful Pleasure".

2. Enter the dream world and choose between three "Paths". They are randomly chosen from a pool of possible paths. One card for each possible path with a nice artwork and a brief description. Each path has its own range of possible numbers of encounters and their difficulty. So with your choice for a path you can influence a bit how long and difficult your session will be. And maybe the encounters for a path are themed fittingly to the path (so forest path means forest encounter cards).

3. Walk your chosen path and encounter a number of random "Lustful Temptations" on the way. You have to finish a number of edges without ruining or cumming to "defeat" the encounter and continue your path. Again: free stroking, no fancy instructions, no guided stroking, no specific tasks and no story. Just don't stop stroking while on the path, unless told so. Enjoy some random porn (from random picture folder or again using porn videos) and do your edges (in your own rhythm). Each "Lustful Temptation" has specific difficulty which determines how many edges for the encounter are needed, how long your are allowed to rest after an edge and if or how long you might be forced to hold edges. Maybe there could be also a time limit for difficulty encounters to finish all edges within that time limit.

4. Survive all "Lustful Temptations" on your path to reach the ritual chamber at the end. There you will meet your Succubus again and face her for a feeding ritual (like encounters: do a number of edges for her. Maybe, depending on her "mood of the day", it might be more or less difficult similar to how encounters work). However, before you start the feeding ritual you will have to make a choice: Do you push your luck and keep playing after the ritual or do you want to end the session with this ritual?

A: If you choose to keep playing, the feeding ritual will end with a denial and you go back to step 2 (choose a path). So you can keep pushing your luck, but once you decided you want to keep playing, you have to survive another path until you reach the next ritual chamber. You can't stop midway.

B: If you choose to end the session with the feeding ritual, your Succubus might let you ruin or cum at the end. The session then ends and you have to wait a day until you can summon your Succubus again and start a new session.

As for scoring, long term progression and punishment for failure:
  • During a session, the player earns +1 sexual energy built up for each edge done
  • The last feeding ritual of a session transfers that sexual energy to the Succubus
  • The amount of satisfaction the Succubus gets from this energy (aka energy fed) is influenced by the type of ending (denial, ruin, cum) and her bond with the player (represented through a player level).
  • Player Level raises after a session if certain tresholds of total sexual energy fed are reached.
Per default the transfer of sexual energy depending on the ending is:
  • Energy * 1.0 for denial (the full sexual energy is transfered)
  • Energy * 0.5 for ruined (half of the energy is ransfered)
  • Energy * 0.1 for cum (only 1/10 of the energy is transfered)
What if the Succubus lets the player more often then not decide for himself how to end the feeding ritual? Now the player has to choose if he wants the satisfaction but earn a lot less points (sexual energy fed) or stay in denial.

Now lets add something to work for over multiple sessions and punisment for failure :
  • For each Player Level add +0.1 to each multiplicator (the more energy the player has fed his Succubus in the past, the stronger the bond between them is, making feeding rituals more rewarding. So better stay alive!)
  • With each denial +0.1 to ruin and +0.2 to cum multiplicator (the frustration of your growing blue balls adds to the anticipation your Succubus feels for your next ruin or cum, when you empty these balls for her)
  • With each ruin +0.1 to ruin multiplicator (the frustration makes the next ruined orgasm more satisfying to experience for your Succubus. So you could try to ruin your orgasms multiple sessions in a row until a ruined orgasm is worth more than a denial, but will you be able to hold yourself back every time?)
  • Cum without permission is Game Over (Your Succubus kills you and consumes your soul)
  • Cum with permission resets all multiplicators back to default (At least you had the satisfaction of a full orgasm)
  • Ruin without permission ends session immediately, the player looses all built up sexual energy from this session, all multiplicators are back to default (you loose any progress on building them up) and you have to wait 2 days (instead of 1) before being allowed to start a new session (the Succubus has to calm her anger down first)
We could also add a "hardcore" mode where cum and ruin without permission both lead to death and where only your Succubus can allow you to Cum (so if she gives you a choice during feeding it will be only between denial or ruin).

Overall it boils down to survive a number of edges without ruining or cumming. Similar to Pornstar Tournament 3 you do it for "your" Pornstar / Succubus to earn her points (aka feed her with your sexual energy). This framework would be much simpler to program, but still has some "game mechanics", a "push your luck" risk/reward system and enough randomization to play out differently for every session.

Sadly it still would take more time and energy than I have atm. Maybe in the future... or somebody uses this post as a "design document" and tries for himself. You see? Still thinking about the idea! :whistle: Any feedback or ideas? :wave:

Wow! Lot's of great ideas, as usual! :yes:

I've been working on a project for a while and, recently, 'borrowed' the core taunt/tag system from PQ and have been working to create some 'logic' that results in a progressive encounter. :-)

thx... lack of ideas was never the problem... just the time, discipline and knowledge to pull them off...

Maybe it's a good idea to share the project development with handful of other talents here, I was reading the thread and d3vi0n has showed some awsome directions and colour of the game and I am sure there are number of amazing coding savvy / programer / writer etc. who could / willing to contribute? (I am suck at any of these haha...) Maybe d3vi0n could still be in for game direction consulting & so on, it could also share the workloads that's been pressuring on one man.
I just feel it's such a waste to not have the full version of the game.
It's has such a good potential..

Hi d3vi0n,

I downloaded Version 0.3.4 of GuideMe an wanted to start a run. On startup I get the "InitiateGame / _error.jpg" it happens right after I want to create my character. Do you have any idea why this is happening? I have nod modded anything yet.
