Hi all,

I'm a newer convert to being submissive, and under orders from my Domme, I purchased an inflatable, vibrating butt plug. I'd never had anything inserted anally before, and this was a bit of a thrill. I used it today for the first time, and while it took me a couple of tries, I got it inserted without too much trouble. I turned it up, pumped it a few times, and was quite enjoying the experience. At one point, I started to get close, which is what She wanted. I gave it one more pump, and settled in a bit, and suddenly got a feeling in my stomach like I was going to be sick, or possibly pass out. I started to sweat heavily, and had to stop. When I removed the toy, I started to feel a bit better, but it took a while.

What I want to know is, is this normal for newbies to this sort of thing? Was it an anxiety reaction or possibly the idea that the room I was in was rather warm? I don't want to disappoint my Mistress when She wants to play with it, but if I can't handle that thing on my own, it's going to be difficult.

can't say I've ever had that feeling with anal ... you sure you hadn't over pumped? (ie too much?)
Were you "cleaned out" ? Sometimes that can help (ie enema before hand) ...

This is only my opinion (I am not a doctor) so take it as you wish.

It's normal. You just went a little too far too fast. Doing something like this that raises your blood pressure (which a inflatable butt plug will definitely do) can make you feel suddenly hot and sweaty and have a fast heart rate and even cause you to faint. It's not that uncommon for this to happen to some people while sitting on the toilet (sudden spike in blood pressure - nausea, sweating and even fainting). A warm room (combined with tension/high-blood-pressure) can also make it more likely to trigger these symptoms.

If your Domme reads this I recommend she and you take it slow for a while. Try non inflatable for a bit. Get your body used to the feeling of something being in there first. Otherwise you risk forming a negative mental association (butt plug might start to trigger nausea even under tamer conditions). It's also possible that a inflatable butt plug is not for you (your physiology, genetics, etc).

Even without the blood pressure issue, anything extremely exciting that raises your heart rate for an extended period of time can suddenly make you hot/sweaty and feeling nauseous.

You'll probably be fine next time, but just take it easy. Don't push too far too fast.

I agree. I have such a plug too and when i First used it, i had the urgent need to poop and it almost felt like a stomach ache. It is a foreign object and your stomach wants to push it out but since it cant be pushed out it sometimes causes weird feelings.
I still have These sometimes, so dont worry, you have to get used to it. Just do Not pump it up to much, that might cause serious pain and injuries.

In addendum to what Les had to say, I'd recommend a simple enema or two before any anal play. Especially with an inflatable toy. Poop being pushed one direction and the toy inflating from the other direction isn't good for the bowels and leads to the feeling of constipation mentioned.
