Really great and easy to use ! Thanks for hard work for us.
As Camel said, don't forget to save to server first before asking for preview (until tomorrow only).

I didn't put a continue button on my first page (but 1 second delay) so I modified it, but even with savings to the server, it doesn't appear.

So I can't get a preview of the second page, as the preview functions always starts to page one.

But may be I did something wrong ...

In left handle text I get this message runing over and over :

You can force the preview to go to any page by entering the page at the top and clicking "Goto".

The log you posted looks ok. If you have a one second delay that jumps back to the start# page that's exactly the log you should get. But that doesn't explain why the "Continue" doesn't show up. Hmm. Can you please post the script for the first page as well? Thanks! (Just go to the script tab, copy the first paragraph and paste it here in the forum.)

Sure thing. Looks like a resizing issue to me. JPEG artefacts look different.

As I've reloaded the script, the continue button as appeared.
But in the script it says go (start#) I think it should say go (page2#), may be that's why I always get page 1 (start).
But I can't modify the script ...

Look where you configured the button: You can set the target page there.

Alright, the public release has now been out for a while and the feedback is calming down.

Time for me to take a little break and let you guys play around with the editor a bit more.

After the break (i.e. in a few days) I'll work on Nyx' security and wrap up some other basic features:
- Voting for FlashTeases
- Proper tease endings
- Some of the features from the todo list
- And finally: Publishing FlashTeases

In the meantime please keep feedbacking... uh... backfeeding... uh, no... giving feedback - that's it! If you come across any bugs or if you think of any other features, make sure you report them meticulously! I'll try and answer as quickly as possible.

I think it's time for another one of my "gay little speeches" (any South Park fans here? Only 10 more days, yaay!

) so here goes:

Nyx really is in many ways Milovana's first big team effort as a community.
A huge SO MUCH to the other developers, the Team, the testers, anyone who provided feedback, all authors who are using Nyx right now and of course everyone who enjoys reading Milovana. Take away any of the aforementioned and Nyx would never have become a reality! Seeing how far we've already come in just two months, I have no doubts that very soon we will have ironed out most of the remaining issues and then there's no stopping us! If better sex isn't the way to world peace then I don't know what is. So let's do this thing!

I already tried there, but I couldn't modify the target there either.
But now I managed to clear and change the target name, and with the new function "save and preview" I could see it working fine !

really great work...
tried it for about 20 minutes and its quite easy to handle this editor...

it would be nice if the "button" preset would be link to "page" so you wouldn't have to change the "start#" each time but this is just a minor prob.
and it might be that other users prefer it the way it's at the moment...

i didnt make a whole tease but may be in a few days i'll try to do one...

the editor is really awesome so far ^^

Is there an issue when using Firefox as the internet browser? I am having a hard time loading picture files.

edit: I tried to load pics when logged on through IE, and that worked fine....

To begin - Great job on this editor - it looks very good to me.

I have experimented with most of the Tease editors out there - mainly PCM2 and a bit of PCM3, CyberMistress, as well as some others. I found one feature at a yahooo group (eteased) that I think would be a great addition to any of these tease editors - Its a visual stroke bar that shows the rate which the viewer should stroke. It can be found at Eteased at Yahoo Groups and is displayed in action with a nice tease called 'slowing down'

To me this is an improvement over the usual sound queues that you can use in PCM and that I might imagine would be used with the new Milovana flash editor with people uploading sound queues (i.e. upload a *.wav file). It looks like its been around since 2001 or so

Thought I would pass it along - who knows mabey its easily encorportated or at least an idea for the future of Milovana's editors

Yes, this idea is planned and was in fact already implemented in an early version of the FlashTease system (ironically back when the system did not support sound yet), so all I'd need to do would be to update the code which I shall do in due course.

Since there wasn't a random function to my knowledge (other than the pics), I used a spreadsheet to generate sixty slides at random (so the pattern wasn't recognizable), each using pic() with an empty argument.

Of course, feel free to look at it if you like, but it's not done yet.

It takes an incredible amount of time to load the web tease. Is there a way to load what you need and then get the rest in the background, or maybe a progress bar?
