Given that you've done this for a number of years, and human nature being what it is (i.e. fallible), odds are that you've had at least one scene go wrong to some extent.
So would you care to relate what went wrong?
If so, did the sub return afterwards so both could learn from whatever mistake was made?
And finally, being a switch, do you ever incorporate what you "learn" as a sub when domming?
Obviously, if you're demi-god like, and have never had a scene go wrong, I withdraw the above questions.

Okay, the first one...
Has a scene ever gone wrong and how.
Yes, things have gone wrong. The things I remember the most was when the subs connection took a plunge or their outside world arrived when they weren't expected to. I think I have only had to bail twice, both times were an emergency that I couldn't have predicted.
Those times can be very irritating for Me and I almost never get right back into the play as though nothing happened.
Things in this world are so real to Me, that I see it in the same way I would see an interruption in the outside world. For example when something interrupts one of My hubbies and I from making love....we don't just jump right back in there..."the mood is gone", so to speak.
The submissive part of Me has had more things go wrong then I have I think. There was one Dom she was with that told her she was cumming, when she wasn't. she excused herself from that situation, respectfully, because it was not a good match.
As far as play that went wrong.....I am racking My brain and even looking over My Black book and I don't see or am reminded of anything beyond the sudden departure stuff.
Oh wait...I found one. There was this one sub that I lightly swatted his cock and he "cried and screamed out". I was in shock and ended it very quickly. I mean, we are talking VERY light swat. I knew he was not a good match for Me.

Question two....did the sub return so that they could learn. Well some return when the coast is clear, or their connection is restored. I warmly explain that the mood is past. Depending on how they deal with that is whether I devote any more time to them in the future. Learning is a valuable tool in this world...both from the submissive and Dominate one.

Third question...yes, I most certainly have used knowledge I have gotten from the submissive side of Myself and used that information when Domming.
I think the most important thing I learned was the after care and making sure the sub has returned to sub space before parting ways.
shell spent time with a Dom that took advantage of her while she was still in sub space and found out personal information that she would not have shared if she hadn't been in serve mode.
I make a point not to discuss deep personal things until I am sure that the sub is "free" to answer or choose not to.
