I might be miss remembering, but i think the Devastation MC just turned my 2500 credits into 1000 debt (actually 1600 debt, but i think i already had around 600 debt before). My conversion rate is 1:2.5 debt to credit, maybe these two are linked? If not, I must've done something else with my credits previously...

This doesn't seem intended though, as having a worse exchange rate would mean that the devastation card is less ... devastating

Okay looking at the code, that's not what happened. It says it in the text though

It takes all of your credits, turns half of it into debt, and trash the rest. So 2500 credits got turned into 1250 debt (if you ended up at 1600 debt, it means you had ~350 debt before) and then you were left with 0 credits... IF the code is correctly implemented.

The conversion rate is used for Buyout, for when you want to spend Credits to lower your Debt. Here you have spent Credits to INCREASE your Debt. Surely it's worse than what your conversion rate usually does

Do tell me if that matches what happened, there might still be a bug that I'm not seeing.

Just had quite the weird quit offer. Cards left were 1000,Mystery,Orgasm and the game offered me to quit for 1000 Debt and 1 Credit. Feels like quite the bad deal there

Unless the game considers a Mystery card to be worse than 1000 Debt so you'd take the chance to avoid it.

The mystery card can be really bad, I should know. I got the mystery clasp card and ended up with 25 days in chastity

Heya! I just wanted to say I'd love to see a feature where the mystery card is more prominent. Maybe being able to play the game with the cards from the mystery deck instead of the regular cards?

I found this to be a really well designed and inspiring tease and if I ever manage to get something scripted myself, I will definitely take inspiration from a bunch of the mechanics and logic used here. It made me realize that the EOS environment may be more capable than I initially assumed.

The reason I wanted to give a little bit of feedback is that I think I stumbled over a small bug. Nothing serious, just what I believe to be a mismatched number:

The curse that you can buy to make Chastity Releases more expensive permanently states that you can exchange it for 500 Debt. However if I am reading the eval in there correctly, it actually consumes 1000 Debt per activation.

I went and checked because I thought some of my Debt in the session disappeared inexplicably and this this the only thing I recently purchased.
The Mistress is not usually known to be more forgiving with the Debt than she initially states.

Mystery cards are more or less impossible to value in debt or credits, so they don't affect the value of give up offers a lot. Also the game is biased toward making you favor Mystery cards... which is NOT a good thing for the player

It is SUCH a feature request to mess with more Mystery cards that I'm going to change my plans for next updates, quite certainly.

Everything is power with just a big fat javascript page, and there are tons of features I would have loved EOS to have... but it's not the first time I work with limited tools and where I still try to do something it wasn't made for. I managed to do most of what I wanted to do, so I'm quite happy.

Haha I never really realize how deep people can actually peek into the code and the page scripts. Don't do that too often, you might spoil yourself big time.

I love how this tease messes with me. It starts off seeming easy. At first I only played it once a day. Then I chased an Orgasm and played twenty times in a row. In the end I got that Orgams card, but the conditions had worsened quite substantially. I now have to play with 18 cards and a high debt to credit payoff ratio. Actually I am in permanent debt, just avoiding the limit of -1000. retrospectively that one orgasm was pretty expensive in a way that it precluded any further orgasm. I had a chastity period fpr five days, which wasn't so good. But I should probably try chastity again to pay off some debt...

Know what you mean by this tease messing with you, love the risk from playing this. i am keeping a diary of how this goes for me. The chastity bane card has been my down fall, currently locked for 11 days and have 25 more to go. Hoping to get a short chastity release otherwise this is going to be torture.

I'm still enjoying this game a lot. One feature request is to make the initial costs configurable. For example I personally would want to make a day of chastity worth quite a bit more, just so it's more tempting to pay off debt with chastity and so that the sentences I get with the mystery card are more realistic for me.

First time commenting. Love this tease. I have a question though because I'm too scared to pick. What does the 12 15 18 card option do? Does it mean you now only play with either 12, 15, or 18 cards from now on instead of the normal 9?

And yes, you initially play with only 9 cards out of the 18-cards deck, shuffled randomly. You can play with more cards if you want, maximum being 18 cards in game at a time.
