So if a tease makes you edge a total of 10 times, and your number is 3, you will only edge 3 out of ten times that day. If you want to continue the tease or start another, you'll have to wait until the next day. (Well, you can read them, but no edging!)
Which is also why most of my kittens are being smart and drawing out their edges throughout the day/evening!
