What's your favourite Miss D? (if you don't mind me asking)

I like a New York style (NOT Philadelphia style) steak sandwich.

Birdman actually makes a pretty good one - steak, carmelized onions, peppers & mushrooms with provolone cheese...

Can't eat that too often though or I don't look quite as nice in a bikini!

How about you Dan? And what is Miss Jay's favorite?

Mistress D forgot to mention her other favorite - although it's more of a comfort food one (I usually make it for her if she isn't feeling well - very commonly when she's hungover).

It's another NYC Italian Deli favorite - the Potato & Egg Hero. In fact I don't think I've ever seen it sold at restaurants outside of NYC.

Real simple - just saute a diced potato and a big onion until they are nicely browned, then add in about 4 or 5 scrambled eggs, salt & pepper and serve on a hero. You can also toss in some chopped jalapeno if you like a little kick (my wife doesn't care for it that way).

It's pretty much the ultimate anti-Atkins, super high carb, non-diet food... Sort of like a potato and onion omelet served as a sandwich.
